They started out a little snug, but since they were slip ons, I think this might be by design. Last year I bought a pair of Targhee III Waterproof shoes, and by the end of the year, I had wore out the back of the counter lining, probably because I slipped them on without untying them. Maybe these will hold up better.

I wear a 12-1/2 so I ordered a 13. Then ordered a 12. The 12 was a bit tight so I am returning them. I can slip my foot in the 13's without using the loop at the heel. I had to use the loop at the heel on the 12's. In my case loose is better than tight.

I love the Targhee II slip on. Surprisingly good athletic fit for a slip on shoe. You can do some light hiking and scrambling in these and they provide good traction and support. I will add that these are far better than the redesigned Targhee III slip on, which I also tried. The Targhee III had a loose, baggy fit, no athletic feel of the ground. My foot slipped all the way to the front of the shoe, crunching my toes. Stick to the Targhee II slip on.

I have worn this style shoe for many years. I always just re-order the same size (11 1/2). This time the shoes are too big for me to wear.

Too narrow for my bununette. Still looking for the right width in a leather slip on. Love Keen though. I have Targee II boots and Newport sandals. These however didn't work out, and had to return them.

This is not my first Targhees, I have owned a couple others and loved them. This pair of shoes felt a little snug, but I figured it was just a new shoe thing. I kept wearing them, and eventually my big toe developed a sore spot from the rubbing. I changed back to my old ones, it went away, tried them again and same thing happened. I contacted Keen about this issue, and they refused to help, as they said it was not a defect. The great thing about buying from Zappos is, they WILL stand behind them. I have a new pair coming this week. If they do not fit, I will return and get something else, but either way, I am not out $135 for a bad pair of shoes. I did buy a pair of Keen Vista Energy+ Shift ESD. They are even more ugly than the Targhees, but fit and feel awesome. I am on my feet 15-16 hrs a day, and Keen are the only brand that holds up, so I keep going back for more.

These shoes feel great. I hate tying laces and appreciate these shoes for their firm comfortable fit. I can even walk a wooded trail without slipping within the shoes. I'll get these shoes again when these wear out.

These shoes fit great and felt great right out of the box. Noticeably lighter in weight than a similar style pair of Roper shoes that I had purchased at an earlier time. Would definitely recommend the Keens as well as Zappos—excellent customer service and quick shipping.

These shoes fit and felt great right out of the box. No need to break them in. Quite comfortable on day one and continue to impress. No regrets.

Another winner from keen. I can't speak about durability yet, but very comfortable, good support, nice large toe box.

Shoe fits perfect. I’m normally an 11-11 1/2. I needed the 11 1/2 which was perfect. Tight at the opening so there’s no slippage to rub the heel. I’d recommend these if you’re doing dog walks on both sidewalks and some hills.

The fit was great from the first time I put them on. I did not have to break them in, they are very comfortable with a great arch support. I highly recommend these to anyone that wants an all weather / all purpose slip on shoe.

They fit perfectly as a size 14 Keen. The 13 is too short for me in this last. I am a senior now and my feet have likely gotten a half size longer due to age and falling arches. These slip ons in a 14 fit very well and are totally comfortable to walk in. I have a wide foot in the front and a narrow heel. This last fits my feet quite well. these are not "dress" style but fit a " dress casual" style just fine. The soles are good in rain or light snow surfaces.

Fit and look great. Perfect for wearing to the and from the slopes and around the lodge. More stylish than the Targhee III. Highly recommended.

Kinda slips off my heel, but still pretty comfortable. Installed orhtotic insoles for my flat feet. The factory insoles were nice, but I need extra arch support.

Keens are not the most elegant shoe style, but very practical especially if you need a wide toe box shoe. The Targhee slip ons are rugged and easy to get on and off. The sole’s lugs are deep - great in outdoor settings unless the ground is muddy.

I love keens - the style is a bit clunky, but I like the wider toe box design. While the shoes fit to stated size and width Keens are definitely narrower than they used to be. It seems the slip ons never offer width selections. I’ll make these work with a little shoe oil and large socks to stench them out, but it’s a shame they only make one size (width) fits all shoes.
