I love these shoes. Love them. Normally I’m an ASICS girl, but I decided to give these a try. They are now my favorite walking shoe. I have a lot of back problems and must have a good quality shoe to walk or exercise in. These have incredible cushioning and support. They upper is super stretchy in the toe box, which is great. Actual room to wiggle your toes. Give these a try!

I have desperately tried to love these shoes, however they hurt my inner ankle. I’ve attached pictures to illustrate the portion of the shoe that unexpectedly is extremely irritating. I’m attaching a photo comparing to a pair of beloved Hokas for comparison. This is a picture of the left shoe. You can see how the new balance comes up very high on the inner ankle.

I'm tough to fit with a wide forefoot, high instep, and narrow heel. I wanted to love it because the style is so cute. But these have a tongue attached higher up the instep than normal. So the seam across the instep was too tight for me, and the lumpiness of where it attaches the tongue was annoying. Very nice and cushiony, but better for someone with a lower instep. Sadly, I had to return.

So far so good. I have multiple surgeries on one foot and a bunion on the other so I have problem feet. I like the cushion and I also like the room in the toe box.

I really wanted these to work! They look great ---- but (deep sigh) -- for some reason my right foot had a problem with the top of the shoe. still on the lookout for a comfy pair~!

After trying several pairs of running shoes, I finally found the perfect pair. There is no slipping in the heel. They are true to size, supportive, and have just the right amount of cushion. My only wish is that they came in more colors! Thanks Zappos for making the process so easy to keep trying until I found the right pair!

Love New Balance shoes and these are no exception. There's plenty of room in the toe box and plenty of support for my foot. These are a winner in my book.

The fit is fairly good, but the right foot was a big tight above/across the instep--so this isn't exactly 'not wide enough' but there is not enough space between the sole and the top of the shoe. (the 'heighth' is too short)> I tried loosening laces, which helped somewhat but then I notice the front shoelace holes were surrounded by a plastic material bonded to the top of the show and this hard material was making the shoe toe tight. So I relaced the right shoe in a sort of novel way and this is better. Not perfect yet, because I still have bit of soreness after walking for approx 2 miles.

NB has traditionally run a little larger, so I sized up a half size. They must have corrected this, as this pair was a full size to large. I also order wides that have traditionally been roomy, but not this time. Although there was just enough room in the toe box, it was really snug around the arch. I like the style and the support, so I am sending back to see whether a wider, smaller size might do the trick.

SO. The toe base is WIDE. Too wide. Your foot moves too much. But, I walked my dog in these a few times and liked how light weight they were. However, after ONE short run, I paid the price. There is no support whatsoever in the overall structure of the sneakers. I tore a ligament in my left foot, which is swollen and painful as can been after 1 week and my right foot is sore, but not as injured. I have been an athlete my entire life and could easily run 8-13 miles. I wore these on a short run with my pup (less than 3 miles), and I am out of commission. On top of that, they are WAY overpriced. Plus, after only wearing the sneakers a couple of times, the looked filthy and one of my shoe laces broke. CHEAP and DANGEROUS. STAY AWAY. I mean -I'm only hoping my injury gets better and I don't pay a deeper price for wearing these junk sneakers. They are defective for any true runner or athlete.

It was not a wide width shoe as advertised. The insole is very hard & uncomfortable. Very disappointed! Will return!

The fit and size were spot on for me. I have flat feet and needed somewhat of an arch support. These sneakers are by far the most comfortable that I have owned up to this point. I am actually going to buy a 2nd pair and my daughters also want them!

I love these shows. They allow me run comfortably and not enrage my plantar fasciitis.
