I own 4 other pairs of Docs, some Chinese made, some made in England. This was the first pair that I have ever returned. Period. Sizing has always been a bit of a struggle for me as there are no half sizes. But the quality of Docs always wins out and I compensate with thicker or thinner socks or insoles to meet my needs. The problem here is the sizing is not consistent with any of my other Docs so be warned if you have a standard. I even measured my actual foot and looked on the Doc Marten website to be certain I got an accurate fit. No go. The boot was gargantuan. Secondly, check out the photos here, and the photos on Zappos and Doc's Website. Notice anything different? Yeah, these boots have ZERO will to stand up on their own from the base of the shoe to the ankle. ZERO support. None. Zilch. I have wool socks with more fortitude. This, my friends, does not make a boot, IMHO. Does the beautiful green color make up for it? I'm afraid not. That gorgeous color could not seduce me enough to keep them. And I won't say anything about the price. Nope. Lips zipped. If they made them as a shoe...perhaps I'd give them a chance. But these are below the standart I had come to expect from Docs...and the price...well...I'mma gonna leave that there.

After two subsequent defective models Zappos is out of my size. The first had one of the metal eyelets pop out because the part on the back side wasn’t there. On the second the quarters in the right shoe were not even with one another. Disappointed in the quality control from Doc Martens England.

I love it! I purchased the Olive green ones. And they are perfect. They fit perfect with my regular size.

These are as pictured. They have a very loose sock like upper leather and look amazing. Unfortunately the toe box is insanely narrow. I need a full inch of pinky toe room that isn’t there. Sadly they have to go back. And I am sad because they really are awesome. If they fit you I’m totally jelly.

I loved the boot but it seemed to run very large. I have other Dr. Martens that fit the same- I recommend a size down. Unfortunately, a size down was not available in size needed.
