Not wide enough - returned

Nice looking shoes, light, very well made. It was so sad to fell how wedgie the sole of the shoe is around my heel on the outside of the heel. I usually by half size larger. Such a shame that everything fits perfect accept this wedgie feeling around the outside of my heel I liked these shoes, so sad.

They're really light weight but they just don't fit me well. They're too narrow and it's uncomfortable when I walk.

After hearing many of my coworkers say how much they love their Hokas, I was excited to get a pair. I tried on a pair in the store and then ordered the same shoe in a different color. The two fit completely differently! The insert at the bottom of the shoe did not meet with the side of the shoe, which caused my foot to be bruised along the arch where the edge was. I had to take an insert from a different brand shoe and switch them out to make the shoe wearable. The shoes are definitely not worth what I paid for them.

I love the Clifton 7 - they fit perfectly and are the best shoes I've ever worn for running and walking - I could easily go 8 miles with no pain anywhere in Clifton 7. The Clifton 8 is terrible - the arch area is different/changed for the worse - not comfortable and hurts on inside arch area of foot. Also causes me pain in the ball/front of my feet, and the heel is too loose. I can barely get through 1 mile in the Clifton 8 before my feet hurt.! hate the 8 version and can't recommend. Please bring back the Clifton 7!

I've ordered 2 pair of the Clifton 8 but they just don't feel good. My foot goes numb.

Exercising, walking around theme parks on vacation

The insole on the left shoe seems off. It's very uncomfortable. It's much different from the right shoe.

I wore these around the house for about 1.5 hours and started to get painful cramps in the bottom of my foot. Needless to say I returned them. They were the right size but it felt as though the arch was in the wrong place.

There shoes are just not it. I'm a nurse on a very busy 84 bed NICU and I regularly work 4 12 hour shifts a week. I received these at the end of September, it's now November, and my feet are absolutely killing me. They ache and cramp, and I've had charlie horses in my feet. I've never had a Charlie horse in my foot before. I wear compression socks with them. I switched from my Adidas cloud foams because they just don't last long but they certainly lasted way longer than these Hokas, and of course I'm outside of my 30 day return window.

Loved my first pair, not these. Sole of the shoe started coming unglued after wearing them for 3, 12 hour shifts:(

I expected a repeat of HOKA Clifton 7 but no, total new design, not comfortable like the 7's. kI am so disappointed that companies like yours feel they have to change product so often - I ended up with another manufacturer entirely...shame on you!

Don't buy if you have flat feet. Extremely uncomfortable. Felt like the arch of the shoe was digging into the side of my foot. Had to return.

Inner lining ripped after 4-5 months of light wear. I don't run in them, I only wear these shoes to work 3x/week so they don't have much mileage on them and were in great condition, minus the inside! HOKA recommended I send it in for an evaluation as it sounded like I could get site credit. reassured by their advice I paid $17 to send them in only to find out they denied it. They didn't even notify me, after weeks of radio silence I reached out to them only to be told this news. When I asked for a reason, no explanation could be given despite the 1 yr warranty. I then asked how I could escalate this issue and she repeatedly told me there's no one I can speak to regarding the matter. I used to love HOKA, I turned my whole hospital unit on to HOKA'S but never again. You just lost a loyal customer and I'll be sure to let those around me know. Their customer service is as lacking as their shoes. Not sure what happened but SAD.

Not something I would wear with a nice outfit

I liked these shoes but after 5-6 months of regular wear the back heel lining has completely disintegrated. The defect is so bad that the padding in the back of the shoes has completely fallen out making the shoes extremely uncomfortable to wear if not unwearable. I am extremely disappointed by the quality and will not be repurchasing from HOKA.

The shoes did not fit well. I did an exchange for a size wide. Only to find out I would not be able to exchange because the wides were a different model number and I would have to purchase a new pair and just return the others for a refund. Hoka received my return on Oct. 8th. Today is Nov. 7 and I have still not received my refund. I have been in contact with their customer service team several times and it's always the same response that the right amount of business days has not passed for them to process and give a refund. It has been an entire month of waiting and I do have to say that I will not be purchasing any other products from this company because of the horrible return policy

I bought these because I loved my Clifton 7's. The 8's aren't nearly as comfortable and are much bulkier.

I have wanted Clifton's for a while and I was thrilled when I received them as a gift for my birthday. I have wide feet and ordered my usual size of 9.5 wide. I have worn them for about a month. My toes are sliding inside the shoes and they give me blisters on the outside of my big toes and ball of foot. I have never had so many blisters in my life. I have tried changing up my socks and it continues to happen. I started wearing my old running shoes because the blisters were getting worse with every run.
