Comfortable shoe and provides good support when playing pickleball. Walk around with it first to "break " shoe in.

Ordered 1/2 size up (9 vs 8.5) for pickleball for more toe room. Fit was perfect. Sole did not last on my other GEL-RENMA - less than 2 months wear playing 2-3 times a week.

I normally wear a 8.5 and that size has been mostly consistent including other Asics shoes. This one felt a little smaller so I would recommend going a half size larger. The white of the shoe is an extremely bright white so I felt I needed to dirty it up a bit. I did notice a bruise under my left toenail after using the shoe. I think the shoe needs more of a break-in period before it gets comfortable.

I have been buying ASICS Gel Kayano for 30 years. I ordered 2 pair of ASICS pickleball sneakers which did not fit. I went on line to return them and ASICS is charging me $4.99 for the return. That is PATHETIC. You are going to lose a long time customer because no one else charges for returns and I this small charge is just NOT right. I will try other brands and other supplies that have FREE RETURNS.

Unfortunately I ordered a men’s size and they were too big. They had to be returned. It’s too bad because I definitely liked the look of this sneaker.

I took a chance on ASICS' new Pickleball shoe and I have to say that I am not disappointed. I have worn ASICS running shoes for many years and they have always been comfortable. The new GEL-RENMA is no different. In addition to the comfort, the traction and stability is great. Every time I had to move quickly and plant my feet for a swing, there was no unpredictability as to where my feet were landing.
