These were comfy when I first tried them out. For a moderate hike, however, they didn’t provide much support. Also, the little plasticky grey stripe just along the arch (but on the outside of the shoe) was easily punctured by a rock on the first hike. The thin red fabric along side the toe box is anything but durable. The black fabric covering the toe looks good in the pics, but it’s thin and flimsy and offered no protection to either your toes or the shoe itself. The cheap foam under the heel didn’t last long enough. The brand name has been associated with quality, but these shoes are anything but. VERY disappointed in them. They looked cool when I got them. That’s it. WAAAY overpriced for what I got. Last Danners I buy.

Be specific about your likes and dislikes. How was the fit and size? What does the material feel like? How awesome (or not) do you feel wearing them?

Fit and size are a little on the large side. I had to move down 1/2 size. Otherwise, very comfortable and I like the fact that it has a trail running/hiking build with a neoprene tongue sown to the front ankle. Someone with a high arch may find this uncomfortable, but I like it. Keeps debris out while hiking.

This is my first purchase of Danners and I really love the look of them! I typically wear a 9 D-medium in tennis shoes, the last several were Salomon. I have a slightly narrow heel, but Salomon gave me room in the toe box without my heel slipping everywhere. I would’ve simply bought a 5th pair of Salomon, but my last SpeedCross 4s squeaked constantly on the tile abs linoleum floors and that drives me crazy! These Danners felt very loose first time trying them on, especially in the toe box. I have high arches and a Morton’s neuroma on the right, so I want toe room but also lots of foot support and stability. These were roomy enough to add new footbeds (picture1) which gave me the support, comfort I need, and still keep this style I want. The shoe has sock-style tongue/opening that’s snug when putting it on, but I don’t notice it at all once the shoe is on. If anything, I appreciate not having to frequently straighten a shoe’s tongue. The shoestrings are nylon and a little slick, but I’ve not had any issues with them coming untied. I’ve only had these shoes over a week, but after 50+ hours on hard floors, there are no signs of early breakdown or failings (picture2 - also poking my big toe up here to show fit/room with additional footbed) I’ll be sure to update my review after a few months. For now they’re comfy(with the new footbeds), cute, and no squeaks so I’m keeping them.

These are most narrow EE shoes I have ever put on my feet, Extremely narrow, the foot entry is awful... trying to get your foot into the tiny opening in this shoe is a joke. I was really disappointed in this and returned it. the sizing was completely off, the EE was too narrow for me, most other Danner EE's fit me great, this shoe was terrible for me. The 10 EE was actually long and narrow, which is the opposite of every Danner boot I have ever purchased!

Sizing was good. So comfortable and light. Got a lot of compliments on the style and colors

Very comfortable! Was kinda worried since I have a high arch, but not overly tight but snug after lacing. Shoe is well made. Great colors.

Fit is true to size. Plenty of room in the toe box. I took out the insoles and replaced with Superfeet. Plenty of room for those as well.

Haven't actually used these much, but a comment on fit. I've loved the 2650 standard model and decided to get the Campo version for summer. While the foundation of the shoe is the same, I found the fit to be different (especially because of the neoprene tongue)--ended up sizing a half size *down* in the Campo and it seemed fine. So, I went from 9.5 in 2650 to 9 in Campo.

Love them. Great shoe, light and comfy
