I really like the cushiness of the sole and the fact that these shoes have traction; however, I am returning them because the leather band across the top of the foot was too stiff and threatened to create blisters both where it crossed the top of my foot and my toes

I wanted to make the plunge into the "slide" trend for the warmer weather, but will not wear uncomfortable shoes anymore. I also do not like too much backless flip-flopping and noisy shoes. These Sorel shoes fit my needs perfectly. They are a little elevated above casual and can go nicely with some skinny jeans or a midi-skirt. They do not flip around when walking, though I have not worn them for long journeys yet. I love the classic ridge bottom for a little edge. They feel very substantial and the leather is soft. I have only worn them a few times, but can see that they will be a wardrobe staple for the spring and summer. Sorel always meant furry boots to me, but now I love their edgy sandals and flatforms and platforms. I recommend these to the modern woman who wants comfort, style and a little edginess.

These are a perfect fit right out of the box. A smidge snug across the arch at the edges but I’m sure that will loosen up upon wearing. They are very comfortable and I think these will be my go to shoes this summer. They go with everything.

I usually wear a 7 in this brand, but I decided to order both a 7.5 and the 7. Both were too small. Cute style - just what I was looking for. Too bad I had to send them back. Thank you Zappos for your free shipping and returns. You are a GREAT company to work with. I LOVE ZAPPOS!!!

Hurts where your toes are and too of your foot where the band is. I wish they didn’t hurt the top of your foot because they are cute!

This sandal was so disappointing. I have several pairs of the Sorel Ella slip ons, and was expecting the same level of comfort in this sandal. Sadly, the leather was stiff and unforgiving, the upper came down way to far onto my toes and the sole was stiff and made it difficult to walk in. I guess I'm going to have to stick with the softer nubuck leather shoes from Sorel, but I don't thing even a softer upper would have made them better for me.

I have many other Sorels in various styles. Usually they work beautifully, but the quality of the leather seemed more like plastic that leather and the color was not a richly pigmented cognac, but rather dull.

These sandals are almost perfect, I do not like the smooth leather inner sole. I much prefer a suede or textured leather that will not get any kind of slippage when the feet get hot or sweat. It is after all a sandal, made for hot weather....
