The Daylite models run the gamut from 13L to 40L or more. I've always thought of the Daylite 13 and the Daylite Plus 20L as being THE representatives of the lineup, but once in a while I'd come across this odd-ball Daylite Cinch 15 and wonder why it even exists. Well, it exists for two reasons: those two extra liters of space coupled with dropping 6 ounces of weight. Yeah, drawstrings are awkward (but your pack still works if they break, versus being out of commission on a zipper loading pack if the zipper breaks) but zippers are heavy. This 12 ounce day pack gets the job done not only due to coming in at just 12 ounces, it includes the Daylite line's famous frame sheet and corrugated, cut out hard foam back space covered with mesh, for the coolest and most rigid back panel (short of an old fashioned "frame" style pack) around. Also notable is a narrow 9. 5" width, vs. the also narrower than average 10. 25" on the Daylite 13 (typical travel packs run 13" to 13. 5" wide). This is important if I stuff the pack underseat, leaves room for my legs. There are two negatives and two workarounds: there are no bottle slots, but Trader Joe's 700ml/22oz sport cap bottles, two of them, fit perfectly in the exterior flat zipper panel (and won't fall out, once zipped in, like mesh bottle slots on the sides). Second, the interior bladder/tablet/small laptop slot isn't "suspended" off the bottom edge of the back panel. I solve the "bump set-down' problem with a repurposed bubble shipping envelope wrapped over my tablet's bottom edge. This isn't for everyone, because panel loaders with zippers are easier to rummage through, but for fast and light flyers looking for a small "personal item", this fits the bill for me. Glad it's in the lineup, own two!

LOVE this pack! I was looking for a small, lightweight, comfortable pack for long walks/shorter day hikes. This fits the bill. The cinch opening is great.

Needed a day pack for various backpacking trips that was light and packable for my day excursions from basecamp. This fits the bill on weight and everything. Super happy.

this a a really good bag! i really wish it had a side pocket to hold a bottle in, i find it very unreasonable to not have it there, other than that it is a top tier day pack!

Osprey is my favorite brand of backpack. I have bought several. I was excited to see that you created this pack. One drawback is that the opening is not very wide. My REI pack opens much wider. I wish that they wouldve made the opening bigger.

I love this pack. It is my first Osprey pack. I have walking for years and have tried several different packs. Osprey was recommended by a friend. I bought it for my 35 mile Great Saunter around NYC! It was one of the best decisions Ive made. It was lightweight, fit all my essentials, my back wasnt sweaty nor were my shoulders tired. Thank you so much! My Osprey will be my walking companion moving forward!

Pack is great for a day trip and fits a slim frame easily. Cinch may take some getting used to but is easy to manage once used to the system. It helps to loop the string on the hook at the top to avoid excess string hanging down. Overall, I am very satisfied with this pack. I took it for a day hike to Angels Landing, and it stored everything I needed and was easy and lightweight to carry. It's my first Osprey, and I am pleased with the durable material, fit, and comfortability.

Awesome bag. Biggest area of improvement I can see is the way the cinch secures. It can be a challenge/awkward to hook and unhook, especially with cold hands. Other than that I really like the size, water reservoir pouch, daisy chain loops, durability, and weight all things considered.

A great smaller daypack. The cinch closure is really easy to use. It was comfortable to carry on a short day hike and I love the purple color.

A nice simple pack for either work/school or a quick hike up a mountain. Used this pack with a reservoir to climb up to 13000 ft and hardly even felt it on my back. I did get a little sweaty betty, but it wasn't as bad as with other brand packs that sit right up against your back

This is a great little back for day hikes, I'm 5"4 female and I put in a 1.5 liter camelbak and the weight distribution was comfortable. Mildly difficult to put things in once the reservoir is inside but that didn't bother me. I really love how light it is and I'm excited to get more use out of it. The one thing I would add would be an additional small zippered pocket on the inside facing opposite to the reservoir pouch.

Great add on to my aether 55L, the daisy chain front works well with attachment and my aether rain fly will fit over it even when packed full. A must have!

It's a beautiful pack, confortable to carry on the hikes and styligh to use even in the city. Love the cinch system. Also has some useful key clips inside. Should have an outside water bottle pocket.
