I bought this pack for my daughter. I have an Osprey back pack (have had it for years) and it's been great! I have used it for hiking all over the world, and it is still in great shape. However I had to purchase a water repellant cover, as it does not have one included with that particular pack. I am sure my daughter will enjoy her new Osprey Talon 22!

Perfect pack for playing outdoors. Plenty of room and the back panel prevents sweat. Love it!

Purchased as a gift for my husband. He loved it! He loves the fit, the hip belt pockets, and the helmet attachment since hes a cyclist. I love the trekking pole attachment so he can carry my poles when Im not using them. Very happy and satisfied with our purchase!

Overall the Talon is a good pack. It is comfortable, has great organization, adjustability for multiple sizes, and ergonomics are good. Biggest complaint with the pack is that it is challenge getting any water bladder in the pouch. I have tried multiple bladders including a couple of different Osprey bladders and non of them easily go into the pouch. I would recommend this pack to others looking for a durable, comfortable, and well organized day pack.

Great pack except its super difficult, next to impossible, to stuff a full, 3 liter bladder into the external bladder pocket. If Id have known that, I would never have purchased this pack. Osprey is aware of this problem and yet they continue selling this model without letting consumers know about the problem.

Its a beautiful pack. Havent had a chance to use it yet but cant wait until I do.

The fit and comfort of this pack is outstanding. I use it for hiking and mountain biking and its the best pack Ive owned for multi sport use.

Love it. So many pockets & features

I have used this pack nearly every day since purchase and its been everything Id hoped it was going to be when purchasing it in 12/23. I walk to work and extensively around SF, off trail etc. Ive bike commuted as well, but not as comfortable to me for that activity. So far this pack has held up great, zippers still work flawlessly, do not get caught in the fabric. Hipbelt works great when I need to transfer bigger loads to my hips. Love the hip belt pockets for easy access to AirPods, keys etc. I recently added 2.5 L hydration bladder and it too works great, I particularly like the magnetic chest strap keeper too. 2 minor flaws are that the pack doesnt stay upright on its own, setting it down Ive got to prop it against something rigid or its flat out on the ground. Also the inner mesh pocket in main compartment is too small, its actually part of the top pocket which limits its utility. Overall Id buy again without question.

I use this backpack every single day. No exaggeration. I pack my work things in it, from extra clothes, to books, to tools. I have used it skiing (til I got a smaller osprey for that), hiking fourteeners, biking, fishing, and everything in between. This is my go to for carrying edc or gifts I want to keep hidden. I love the grey, the fabric is holding up well, the only damage is on the outer stretchy material from crashing skiing on ice. It has space for a bladder, great pockets in the waist strap, and great zipper handles. 11/10, would recommend, or buy another color. And happy for the lifetime guarantee. I'm sure I'll use it in 20 years ;)

the size is what I was looking for. It looks sturdy and well-made.

Im never been happy with any backpack I've owned over the years, they either bother my shoulders or my back or both. I love this backpack its extremely comfortable . If I could change anything I would add something to organize small items like a pen holder .
