I typically wear a 12 or 12.5 shoe. I notice in some reviews it's mentioned the shoes run small, none that stated they run large. The 13 is the largest bedstu has, and it is a snug fit. Not comfortable at this moment, if they don't break in on their own, I'll get the stretchers out. If' your are an actual 13 or larger, this shoe will likely not work for you. However, it does looks good.

I'm very pleased with these shoes. They're handsome and stylish; I've dressed them up and down. And extremely comfortable. (The size chart provided didn't work for me - with the measurement of my foot, I started with a 12, but I ended up with an 11, a half size smaller than I usually wear.) Perhaps the best part is that they make my closet smell like a leather shop!

I received my black pair last week, they look great and super comfy, I just ordered the brown.

My recent experience with BedStu has unfortunately been more frustrating than satisfactory, highlighting significant concerns with both order fulfillment and customer service. The core issue began with receiving an incorrect order instead of the Iliad Black Rustic in size 12 that I had purchased for my husband, we were sent a size 13 shoe. This error was compounded by an attempt to modify the shoe to appear as a size 12, including altering the size label on the tongue, while neglecting to remove the original size 13 sticker from the bottom. This oversight not only reflects poorly on quality control but also on the companys transparency with its customers. Upon contacting BedStu for a resolution, their response was disheartening. I was informed that exchanges were not possible at this time. Although they offered to waive the shipping and handling fees for the return and to refund my purchase, this solution does not address the primary concern of receiving a modified and incorrect item. The gesture, while appreciated, feels insufficient given the nature of the issue. My husband has long been a supporter of BedStu, attracted by their reputation for quality footwear and unique designs. This incident, however, has significantly impacted our view of the company. Effective customer service and accurate fulfillment of orders are crucial to maintaining trust and satisfaction. Unfortunately, this experience has revealed shortcomings in both areas. I had hoped for a straightforward resolution that would allow us to continue supporting BedStu. Instead, we are left with disappointment and a refunded purchase that does not compensate for the inconvenience and misleading modification of the product. Its essential for BedStu to address these issues promptly and improve their service and quality control processes to prevent similar situations in the future. Thank you for addressing this matter, and I sincerely hope that this feedback contributes to positive changes within BedStu.

Way too narrow, confines the feet in an unnatural way. You need to sacrifice a little tradition and widen the shoe while still maintaining that classic look.

Solid build, but I'm surprised at how quickly the black dye finish on the leather is wearing off in places, in ways that are hard for me to buff out. Haven't had that issue with my other Bed Stu's, some of which I've had for five plus years.

The shoe is very nice leather but the sole is rubber. I thought it was red leather like the ladies shoes. I dont like that part.

I love these shoes. Both pairs of Bed Stus I own fit perfectly, come already soft and broken in, and are super comfortable. Love this brand.

Great looking shoe but ran much smaller in size than my other BedStu shoes. Unfortunately had to return them.

Received these boots in a really efficient time (i.e., just a couple of days) and they looked awesome. The color is just like the pictures and the construction and material is fantastic. Unfortunately, the boot is really narrow (I've always been a standard size foot and these really squeezed my foot in the area between my toes and mid-foot.) I recognized within minutes that there was no way these were going to stretch enough over time to be comfortable. Bed Stu was great and processed my return just as efficiently as they sent them in the beginning.
