The size seems to be true. For instance, I wear 7 in most Saucony shoes, but 6.5 in other brands, and Inov-8 is in that category. The 6.5 fit normal. The shoe is listed as the widest of the brand (a 5), but I find it similar to the width of the TrailTalon (a 4). I have a wide toe area and a narrow heel. These fit both areas well. These shoes are very light and handle well on the trails. The 0mm drop has been an easier adjustment than what I experienced with Altras.

Too narrow for my foot. I purchased my normal size 10 women's and the shoe was too small. I recommend ordering a half size or a full size up. I then ordered a men's size, which are supposed to be wider than women's sizes, and it was too narrow as well. On their website they say that this shoe is their widest fitting trail shoe. The upper on the shoe feels like plastic combined with rubber.
