I work on my feet in a salon all day, but didn’t want “practical” looking shoes! These are heavy in the box, but not so much while wearing. And I wear Doc Martens, so not an issue. The uppers are SOLID BLACK - laces match leather exactly. And the soles are speckled like paint spatter - very cute, especially with cuffed jeans. They were comfortable all day from the first wearing. SAS makes comfy and supportive shoes!

These are my go to shoes for workdays. The snakeskin is just fun to wear and pairs up well with many colors. As usual, SAS has provided another comfortable high quality shoe! They are a little heavier than typical shoes, but it makes no difference in how they wear or feel.

I've been wearing these shoes for several months, now, and they are soooo comfortable! When I first handled the shoe, it seemed to be heavier than other styles of SAS shoes I have. However, I don't notice the weight while wearing them. The added room in the toe box is a bonus as I have bunions, and these shoes in WW can be worn all day with no chaffing or soreness. The styling of the onyx and mamba colors give the shoes some spark, which is nice. I'd love to see some more colors and patterns!

If you're considering these for a comfortable slip resistant work shoes, go somewhere else! They are comfortable yes, but definitely not slip resistant at all as advertised. Highly disappointed!

This is the most comfortable walking shoe I have from SAS and I have numerous pairs of SAS shoes. They are heavy when you first put them on but after wearing them for a while the weight is not noticeable. I highly recommend them.

I love the look of this shoe. It is so cute. I have the Free Time shoe in the charcoal suede. It is my go to walking shoe when I travel to Europe and walk a lot on the cobble stones.
The charcoal ones do not look so much like "Old lady shoes".
When I saw this "free rein" shoe", I had to have it because this shoe has the same last as the "free time" shoe. I have the snake skin print. It looks nice with everything. I would love to see this shoe in a cute red leather and navy blue leather. I would buy them in a minute. I do not care for the other colors.
They are a bit heavier than the other shoe, but when wearing it, they are so comfortable.

The shoe has a very modern design, snakeskin, all the works, and with that you expect them to not be comfortable, but they really are! They aren't real cushiony, but they really support my feet all day! The sole on it is a bit heavy, which may be a deal breaker for some, but I'm very clumsy, so I like the extra stability feel! Basically, I wasn't sure what to expect from these shoes, but they blew my expectations out of the water!

These are my new favorite sneakers! They are so cute and comfortable - I can wear these all day without my feet hurting. I love that these sneakers go with everything from dresses to jeans. I got them in chalk, but I liked them so much that I got another pair in the snake print!

When you pick up the shoes, they feel heavy; but, they are not heavy walking.

I have a large foot and there aren't many cute women's shoes once you get over a size 11. I bought the Mamba snake skin pattern and they are super cute. I get alot of compliments on them and I don't get that many compliments on my giant shoes! It is shocking how heavy they are, but that didn't take long to get used to and I don't really notice it anymore. I think they are very comfortable. I wish SAS would make some more of their cute styles in the larger sizes. I usually wear an 11.5-wide or a 12 in SAS. In these I took an 11.5 regular as the toe box is generous. I've been wearing them a year and they still look and feel great.

I have worn these every day since I got them! My feet tend to supinate & my ankles are weak. These provide the exact support I need & are very comfortable.

I use it for work where I am on my feet all day. It's very comfortable and it did not require break in. I still might add an additional arch support since I have plantar fasciitis but it's not necessary. I got compliments on my shoes for the very first time. Thanks for a cool design!

These shoes are super comfortable! I wear a narrow and they fit perfectly. I have the "snake" print version of these and I have never gotten so many compliments on a shoe as I have on these. I would have given them 5 stars but they are a bit heavy. I understand they have reworked them to make them lighter. I am thinking about buying them in black if that is the case.

I walked with these when I got them, and found them much heavier than sneakers. Better exercise, but I have to get used to the extra weight. Very comfortable to wear all day, and love the non slip, very stable.

Because of earlier reviews, I was ready for heavy shoes - and they were. They don’t feel too heavy when being worn, but that heavy thick sole has another huge drawback- it is stiff as can be. Your foot may bend while walking but the shoe really doesn’t. Highly uncomfortable to walk in, I felt like Herman Munster, and walking two blocks actually threw out my back. Love the style, hated the shoe.

Not for the faint of heart. These shoes are heavy, but I wore them every day (minus weekends) for three months and they held up. I walked, maybe 5 miles per day in them, and they held up. My feet were protected, and my legs were tired from lugging my feet up and down the hills of our campus with 20 kids on my tail. but the shoes kept my feet comfortable, level, and ready for another day of the same. I bought another pair when these were worn out, and when the next pair goes, I'll buy another pair. These are pricey, but they've paid for themselves in comfort and keeping me going, even at the end of a particularly grueling day.

I ordered the black w/ speckled edge sole, in my usual size 10N and they fit, meaning they stay on! I tried them on with and without socks. With medium weight socks they fit perfect. Without socks I'd need a light added insole. The lace-up feature means the width can be adjusted. The suede feels and looks great and the speckles makes these shoes much more fun and stylish than all black.

I love SAS shoes. Literally all of my shoes are from SAS. I was so happy to find these, because they're so cute; I LOVE the updated black and white sneaker look. But this model has a very high, very rigid interior arch support, so much so that it was actually painful, and I had to take them off after two steps. I've never felt that in any other SAS shoe or boot. I'm so disappointed. Don't buy these unless your foot has an arch like a ballerina's.

I have worn these shoes for years. So disappointed with the new soles. The shoes are way too heavy. They now wear like work boots. Instead of feeling like support on you feet, the shoes now feel like weights you wear around your ankles to exercise. They need to change the soles of the shoes to a more appropriate weight. I will not purchase them again.
