These run true to size. I am a size 9 women’s and I got the equivalent size and they are roomy enough that I can wear super thick socks. They are a bit stiff and need to be broken in. I got these to wear in the snow. They are not ideal for anything but walking in the snow Bc they are so stiff that it’s hard to be super active in them. I wore them with my daughter tubing and playing in the snow etc. They were perfect for that and still looked nice without having that “snow shoe” look. They are definitely water proof. It would be nice if they had a better warm lining inside like some of their other snow boots.

Boots are great. My wife wears 7.5 vans. We got 7.5. We sent them back and got a 1/2 size bigger. Now they are perfect.

I was nervous about these after reading reviews. People talk about them hitting an uncomfortable spot above the ankle but that was very brief. I have super high arches and that for once was not a problem. I live in Montana and wear them every day to work, to the ski hill and walks in the snow. Plus they’re stylish. I highly recommend them!

So sad to send these back, but the fit was just weird. Ran small, but just fit poorly.
So cool looking.
Bought as a gift for my daughter.

Bought these bad boys in November. Once I broke them in, they quickly became my everyday shoe. I live in a wet & cold, sometimes snowy beach town in the Northeast and needed a winter boot that was lightweight and cute enough to wear everyday without killing my knees. LL Bean boots were the only things that kept my feet warm but dang are they heavy and cumbersome. These MTEs are it! Toasty feet, cute kicks, comfortable for every day/all day wear.
Until late January when we got some real snow and I noticed that there seemed to be a leak. Prior to this snowstorm, I've only worn these shoes in light rain and cold days. With actual snow on the ground, there seemed to be a leak from one of the seams, as the insoles were completely soaked after a few hours outside. I thought maybe snow was creeping in via ankles or something, but everywhere in my boot was dry except the bottoms of my feet and insoles.
Hoping this is a one-off issue and not a recurring one - customer service hooked me up and I'm trying a second pair.
All in all, I'd recommend these. People complain about the stiffness in the ankles, I don't see it as much of an issue. It is a snowboot, after all. It's not going to be as flexible as a normal shoe. I'm between a 7 and 7.5 in Women's... got the 7.5 to make room for thick socks.

Yes waterproof and has winter traction and I've worn these at work on concrete floor and up and down ladders, 5 hrs
But really people, not in 6" plus snow, not even remotely realistic. Good lol the reviews are hilarious
Anyway, from'4848 WV in reality of winter
yes we're not mammoth or whistler blackcomb revelstoke, Brighton
But realistic on the vans
Unless you're in water

Exact same issue, timing and boot as "Split at Toe". Until this happened, best Winter boot ever. Amazing traction on ice, snow, waterproof and stylish

went up half a size and they're still kind of tight. Probably can't wear thick socks.
They feel weird when you walk because the back is stiff so your leg doesn't really bend which I assume is good for like snow skating but not great for just walking around
Hopefully they feel better after breaking in because they look cool.

Like the style, most definitely size up a half size & no online size exchanges. A vans store is over a hour away there is a reason I ordered Online

I bought these shows November 2021. These are my every day shoes. I wore them from Winter all the way through Summer. These shoes are comfortable. Here's the problem, both shoes are splitting in the top with the left one being worse. This ruins any waterproofint they had and there is no fixing them. These shoes also lack a protector for the back of the feet so when they rub, they make your ankle raw. The other Vans I have do not have these problems. I was going to see about a warranty because of the shoes splitting not even a year later. For shoes that are over $100, they do not have the $100 quality.

These run so small, I am a W10/M8.5 in everything Vans. I read reviews and sized up a half size to W10.5 but I could have done a whole size up or more if I were going to wear super fluffy socks. They are also very stiff. I understand they are more boot style but they aren't comfy to walk in.

I love vans but have been disappointed with this pair. I got them to work in the snow as I thought they would keep my feet warm. They have been good on being waterproof but started to crack where your toes bend. Even before they started cracking they don't really keep feet warm even with good socks if you are standing on ice or snow for more than a half hour. I've only had them a couple months but not impressed

I absolutely love the full size snow boot. I assumed this would be the same but in a 6" but its not. Its insanely stiff. The back digs into your heal. Make this with the same softness as the full size and I'd by 10 pairs.

I got these as a present for christmas. I live in the mountains of Colorado and wear these everyday. With new insoles these shoes are amazing look good and feel great.
Problem: In less than a month they started leaking and ruined my cork insoles. The cracks started early and have just got bigger and bigger. Still wear them as long as it is not snowing. Calling these a mid snow is deceptive unless you wear them a couple times a year maybe. I have been wearing vans for 35 years and would never buy these. VANS FIX THE RUBBER IT IS CLEARLY A PROBLEM!!!!

I liked the style. Definitely need a full size up. Returning because the footbed was too thin with no support. Vans should improve the footbed and add some support. Otherwise pronation will occur and the boot loses form. IF you add added an insole it might correct the problem.

They were super cute, but after wearing them, they started to cut into my ankles and wearing them in snow didn't keep my toes warm! Sending them back.

These literally fell apart after one season. For the price that you pay for these shoes, they should last more than 3-4 months. My son really liked them, but they are really bad quality. Not what you expect from Vans.
