After reading the reviews, I purchased these boots half a size smaller and I'm glad I did. The fit is great and the toe box wide enough to comfortably accommodate my bunions. I noticed the boots because of their style and the actual boots are just as attractive. I'm pleased in all respects!

I’m in my 50’s and shoes for me need to look good and feel good! These fit the profile! Size runs larger. I usually wear a 6.5 or 37 and I needed a 36 here and almost could have gone a 1/2 size smaller yet, but I’ll be able to wear thick socks this winter

Gorgeous shoes and super-healthy! They have a Casual look on par with Ugg's level of casual. I needed dressier.

I like these boots and am going to keep them, but if I reordered them I would go for the next smaller size. They work with heavy socks but do run long and wide.

My new Dansko Evelyn ankle boots are what I expected! awesome, elegant and comfortable. Not only do I enjoy wearing them, compliments galore from friends and family. I always find what I am looking for at Zappos! Thank you for your fast service and on occasion, verbal interaction has always been pleasant and friendly. I can always depend on excellent service from Zappos.

I really liked these! They are pretty and stylish. But, I felt that the shoes looked used. The left shoe had some sort of stain at the front of the toe and another one toward the top of the boot, a divot in the leather on the back heel, and the toe had a crease in it. I feel for the price, I deserve a pristine set of new shoes, not a pair someone wore and then decided to return.

I normally wear 8.5 and that's what i ordered. But the boot felt too loose with my heel slipping up and down when I walked. Will have to return for a half size smaller and hoping that will work as the boots themselves are really solid and nice looking.

These shoes were so cute that I wanted to keep them, but alas, they were to wide in the heels. I have narrow heels which makes it challenging to get shoes to fit. I hope someone else will love them.

I have developed plantar fasciitis in my right foot and unfortunately most of my shoes are too uncomfortable to wear. I bought these in black after discovering that I can wear them all day with less discomfort. They are even more comfortable than my favorite tennis shoes. The Dansko booties are one of my new favorite shoes during plantar fasciitis episodes which for me, at this time, is always. They are really cute too.

The size remains consistent with other Dansko purchases. The boot is comfy right out of the box.\The toe box is roomy and I think the style is causal but cool. I am ordering a second pair in another color to complete my winter comfy wardrobe.

I love this boot. I was looking for the boot version of the Dansko Paisley shoe (which I think is the single most comfortable walking shoe ever..). I do need a half size smaller in the boot than the Paisley shoe. Walked 4 miles in them the same day they arrived and had absolutely no issues. Only thing I’d love to get rid of is the tassel, I feel like this may get warped/ stick out funny after snow and salt this winter, will have to wait and see. All in all great boot and will gamble on the tassel because they are so comfortable to walk in.

This fit as I expect Dansko’s to fit. I am a 10 1/2W; 11’s generally fit me with socks. As these are boots I expect to wear socks with them. When I tried them with tights they were a bit large. I added thin wool socks and they are just right. They are comfortable and do not rub any where. I disagree with the review which says they are as casual (read shapeless) as Uggs. They have a nice shape to the toe. The ankle is wide. I prefer a narrower ankle. I untied the tie which required cutting a few stitches on the decorative tassel. That done, the tie functions as such and I can get a bit narrower ankle. I am very happy with these.

with my wide forefoot and narrow heel I can count on Dansko to deliver the fit I need. the quality of the construction is excellent. the green is a little lighter than the picture but is is a true woodland green. I like it.

I only tried these on so far because I am waiting for fall/winter to wear them. They instantly felt great. This is truly one of my favorite brands of shoes.

Amazing boots!! Dansko are my go to shoes for work. I’ve had a couple back surgeries so need something comfortable to make it through the day. I was a little hesitant to purchase stylish boots to wear to work as I stand on a concrete floor for 9 hours a day. But they are SUPER comfortable and very light weight. There was no “break in” time needed. First day wore them for 9 plus hours and no problems at all. Highly recommend!!

I'm 38M and they fit well and are comfortable. I don't like the green as much as I thought I would. It's a pretty shade but it's less grayish than I expected. I was thinking 'elf shoes' and then my dad said it! I like the tie, tassle, and metal features, but the boots have a look that's a bit narrow and pointy for my taste. I like the wider, chunkier toe box of the Dansko clogs. I don't think these pair well with many of my pants, only skinny ankle jeans or leggings, and we're past leggings weather. They do look cute with a skirt and may be more of a spring or early fall shoe for me. The boots could be a little easier to slip into—but it's nothing compared to the Dansko Frankie.

I’m they were huge! My foot was swishing around and lifting out so much that I couldn’t walk in them. Even with 2 pair of socks, I couldn’t get away with keeping them.

They just arrived today, & I've been wearing them around the house. They're comfortable right out of the box! I usually wear a 40 in European sizing, but since I wear a 9, I bought these in 39 because they were listed as 8 1/2-9, & they fit exactly the same as my size 9 footwear. I like the lichen color & the style. I've never had green booties; all my shoes are black. My left foot is a little bit larger than my right, so the fit is a little snugger, but not uncomfortably so; this is how all my shoes fit. They're a keeper!

Dansko was recommended by my podiatrist (rheumatoid nodule on Achilles tendon, not surgically removeable) because I need the support but must have no heel contact with the shoe. On the advice of a previous reviewer I purchased a size 37, and it's a good fit. The leather flexible but appears sturdy, the zipper works well w/o tugging, and I really like the heel height.

Dansko is always comfortable for me. These boots are great right out of the box; wore them to work with no issues. Nice look with casual pants or leggings. Very pleased!

These are so comfortable, fit my foot bed, and allows my toes and instep to feel secure and yet not crowded. I wear a 9 typically, but ordered a 39 and they are perfect even with a pair of not particularly thick wool socks. I would order them in other colors as they are easy to slip on and yet they feel stylish.
