My two stars is because they have attached the tongue of the shoe to the shoe. My feet swell at the end of the day they strangle my feet. This is something new they have done because past versions were my favorite shoe!

Loved my levitate 3s! Tried the 4s and was very disappointed. The heel of the shoe is different which resulted in a blister within the first 2 miles. The front toe pad part is tighter which made the shoe feel smaller. Wish I could still get my hands on a new pair of 3s!

I am very disappointed with these shoes. They are stiff and hurt my feet despite breaking them in for a few weeks.

I loved the Levitate 3 version and was very excited when v.4 came out. I have had this shoe for about 6 months and really want to love it (because I love the Gold and Black color!) but it has a lot of issues. I have narrow feet, so I really love the new snugger fit in the v4, however it made sizing difficult. This shoe definitely runs small- I would recommend sizing up one whole size from the v3, which I felt ran big. In the v4 I ordered a size 9, my typical running shoe size, and it is still too tight for running. I also run without socks, and the stitching on the inside of the heel cup causes blisters. They are too tight for me to wear socks with for running. Because I love the feel of them, I have kept them for an everyday sneaker, but for the cost I am sad they do not work out for shoes. When purchasing, be mindful of the following: 1) This version runs small. I wear an 8.5 in regular shoes, and typically a 9 in sneakers. I have the size 9 but would have benefitted from a 9.5. Which is so different from the v3, where 8.5 was my size. 2) The heel cup is not smooth due to stitching of the pull tab. If you run without socks or with short socks, you might get blisters. 3) The laces are flat and slick, so they come untied easily. Pros: Comfortable mesh. Great for narrow feet (if you can get the sizing right) Good spring Overall, I don't recommend this version of the levitates. But I am looking forward to the next version.

My previous pair of Brooks were levitates as well, I thought I could just order the same size however the toe box is different and not as comfortable for my foot. Sad as I?ve already ran in them, probably shouldn?t of ordered online

I felt this shoe was may have narrower than previous versions of the levitate which didn't fit my foot well at all. They also removed all padding by the Achilles' tendon and it dug in and created a blister after just 1 mile. Will be looking for a new shoe unfortunately as these are unwearable. The levitates used to be my go to shoe

Too tight. Too much fit exactly to the foot. When you run your foot swells and there's no way you can finish a long run in these. The last pair of levitate were the perfect shoe. You should not have changed it

Not happy with the levitate 4 Insole seems too thin and you removed the internal collar. Unfortunately I can feel rocks when I walk in these. My levitate 3 and 2 were perfect.

Not as sturdy as the model a few years ago I was trying to replace. Disappointing bc I needed the exact shoe I had years ago just new. The type of workout I do the older model was PERFECT, my feet slide way too much in these and there?s little to no impact comfort.

These shoes are very tight around my foot and not nearly as comfortable as other Brooks I have purchased. I am going to try another Brooks shoe for running.

I wanted to love these, and they felt perfectly comfortable and the right size, once they were on. But my feet had to struggle to get in, and even out, of them. I'm in and out of shoes throughout the day, so I couldn't keep them, knowing it would be a fight to get them on and off. Maybe I have a high instep, although I never realized that.

Too snug. I normally wear a 7 1/2. Second pair of Brooks that felt snug. I was fine with last years model. This one changed a bit. I guess I need to start ordering a half size bigger. My feet did not get bigger. Expensive mistake.

I do not care for this shoe. I have been wearing Levitate 2 for about 4 years. The feel is so much different, not as much cushion, the tongue is much shorter, which makes it hard to get your foot inside the shoe. I would not recommend this shoe.

Was disappointed in this shoe. Seemed it ran smaller that my other Levitates, and tighter across the arch. I Have had them over a week and keep trying to get use to them and break them in.

Been wearing levitates for years. Unfortunately this one is too tight in the forefoot for me. Makes my foot go numb and because it is sewn in halfway up the laces there's no way to adjust it. Also the top back rim does dig into your skin but if you wear the socks with the lip on the back it's not a problem. They are super cute though.

I?m an ER nurse and bought these for work only. These are my least favorite of all the many brooks I've had in the past 9 years. Not enough cushion for me and they feel very tight no matter how loose I tie them. I do no have high arches at all. They are loud. Almost sound like I?m wearing boots.

I like the style in the photo. In person, the style is somewhat weird with the shoelace openings. Sounds unimportant but I couldn’t get past it. I want to believe that because of that design is why the shoes did not fit me well. I never have issues with size 8 being to tight and straight up uncomfortable but these shoes were. The discomfort was not in the toe area, it was where the tongue of the shoe is. Had to return.

Absolutely LOVED my Levitate 2?s. These are nothing like them. So much smaller/tighter/narrower. They are hard and uncomfortable. The only good thing about them is the way they look.

Disappointed ?.. they changed the way the shoe is made.. I wear a brace on one foot and need to have the shoe be able to widen through the tongue to fit the brace...the shoe is essentially one piece..does not fit with the brace on.. my favorite shoes that I can no longer purchase

They look gorgeous and feel so lightweight, I was very excited about them. But they didn?t work for me. The tongue is fixed and it caused too much pressure across the top of my foot without a way to modify it.

I have the Levitate 2's and LOVE them. I really wanted to love these, but half of the tongue is weaved into the shoe and I can't get my high instep into the shoe. Very sad they didn't work, but going to try another type of Brooks.

I really wish I had read the reviews and had noticed that the shoe runs narrow, small and has a tight toe box. My normal size are small for me and my toes are numb at the end of a trail run. Nice looking shoe though. My go to shoe is cascadia, think I will stick with that style.
