This is my go to trail shoe. I love that I can throw it on, brand new, and run 25 miles without any problems!

I live in ND and like to run outdoors as much as possible through all the seasons. Many times the trail is wet or iced over and these keep me from slipping. The material also keeps my feet dry on the wet trails and in the snow.

VERY COMFORTABLE!

These are my go to shoes. I gave up my Zumba shoes and wear these every day for Zumba. I wear them at the gym and even at golf...these shoes just love my feet! I've never found a wide toe box and narrow heel in any other shoe that feels this good.

This is my 4th pair of superiors. They're perfect for both trail and road running.

Haven't found any other shoe as good as the superior. I wear superiors in all distances of runs, from 5 miles up tp 100+ miles.

I have struggled for years to find the right trail running shoe for me! I didn't want them to be clunky and too padded, I want to be able to feel the trail beneath my feet, but not TOO much. These shoes fit the bill! I have really narrow feet, which is probably why I don't have the toe box complaint that some of the other users experienced. For me, they provide just enough space for my toes to expand with my stride, but not so much space that my foot is sliding around. I wore these for a 6 mile trail run straight out of the box and they were perfect! I'm running my first Ultra in a few months and I'm so excited to wear these for it!

First time trying the trail shoes. I usually wear Solomons which tend to be much heavier have less traction. Ive worn the Altra Kayentas and Escalantes for road running and as always, love the wide toe box and predictable 1/2 size up fit. Compared to my former shoes, these Altras make me feel like I'm flying and have a nice sticky grip. Thank you again!

My daughter got me these shoes last year. They're the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. The first few days I had them I was jumping out of bed in the morning to quickly put them back on. My exercise is mostly dog-walking, but I love them and the low heel helps my back. They fit my narrow heel very well

I bought these as I want to start hiking the Florida trail, and after much research, felt that Altra Superior was the right shoe for our climate/geography. I also own the Escalante, for every day walking, but the Superior is now my favorite shoe. I walk paved paths and beach about 3-5 miles many times a week and these are very comfy. I have a narrow heel but a wider toe area, and the toe box is extra roomy, something shoes like Nike and Brooks fail with. I wear light weight wool socks, and my normal shoe size is a 7 or 7.5 but in these I ordered an 8 based on my research, and it is perfect! They look really nice, this is now my go to brand. Please create a sandal?

This is a great shoe. Comfy, flexible, and tough enough for trails or other outdoor experiences. I bought it for beach runs where there are sharp shells and the sole does its job. My usual size (10) was too big so I'm returning it for the 9.5.

I loved so much these shoes. They are very comfortable and stylishly. I run every day and I never felt more satisfied with this product. Totally recommended.

Did a light trail with a pretty slow incline, very rocky, in SoCal and these shoes did the trick! I have a bad hip and back and felt no fatigue in my legs/hip whatsoever. The stride feels incredibly natural thanks to the low cushion and ample room in the toe box. I will say, I'll probably try a half size bigger (I'm a 7 usually, going to try a 7.5). My big toes touched the front of the shoe more than I'm comfortable with when going downhill. I'm more than satisfied with this shoe!

I bought these shoes for the wide toe box and minimal cushioning. I have foot pain due to tight fitting shoes (I have a wide toe box & narrow heels) and these shoes fit my feet beautifully. I wear them on day hikes, trail runs, and recently wore them on a 2 day backpacking trip and they held up well. I totally recommend these shoes. Just a warning; due to the minimal cushioning in the heel they encourage more of a forefoot strike for running so if you have not transitioned to a FFS from RFS (rearfoot strike) yet you may need to do some looking into that before wearing these shoes to run in. But these are super comfortable and durable.

I wore these hiking on a steep rocky trail and also side sloping along a hill in search of blueberries. They feel like slippers with traction! I had to snug them up a bit going downhill but loved how light they felt and low to the ground. I love my Timps for cushion but these are going to be a lot of fun!
