Zappos recommended I buy a size 9 in this shoe. I used that recommendation (I usually wear an 8), and the shoes fit perfectly. They are very comfortable because of the wide area for my toes. They are not stylish, but comfort is much more important.

They fit true to size, both in length and width. Super fun color. Altra shoes have a nice wide toe box without being too big in other areas of the show, these included. Unfortunately these shoes did not work well for me for running. They did not have enough cushion for my liking. That being said, they will work just fine for walking the dog!

I love the wide toe box on these shoes. They are very comfortable, even from the first wear. They have decent arch support and do not aggravate my heels with my plantar faciitis. The laces do not come untied like with other shoes i have, so I don't have to double knot them. The back of the shoe is really nice and padded, so they don't rub on the backs of my heels. Overall, a great shoe for the price.

I have worn Paradigm by Altra since its inception. So I have seen versions come and go each year for some time now. It is still my go to Altra shoe. The current model doesn't seem as "breathable" on the foot. Nor does the toe box seem as wide. Though my usual size fit, with the help of a podiatrist, it was determined I needed to go up a half size. I appreciate the support and the stability of the Paradigm on a zero drop base. Can incorporate an orthotic too.

I ordered a half size up, which was recommended and good advice. I think I would LOVE these shoes if they came in a wide. I am on a wait list for a different style by this brand that comes in a wide.

Fit well and was very comfortable

Nice shoe, pretty cushy. Felt just a little snug on width (I got bunion), but likely would still work. I am returning because I do not find these helpful for me. My gait is neutral to slight supination (underpronation). The GuideRail causes the inside of my heels to move up and the outside of my heels is pushed even further down. Promoting further supination. I think these would be better for OVER-PRONATERS. FYI, I am a fan of ALTRAS, wear Lone Peak and Mt King 2 walks and light hiking.

Quality has gone down hill in recent years.

Disappointed with fit… usually 7.5 in everyday shoes and 8-8.5 in running shoes. Ordered 8.5 and had no toe space / very narrow for this type of shoe and my big toes jammed up on front of shoe.
