The fit on these shoes was great. And they are very attractive for a hiking shoe. I can't speak to the waterproof issue, because I used them 3x on mostly dry trails. However, there is very little support in these shoes. I wanted to give them a try because I thought maybe they'd be better than sturdier shoes. They have a very cushy feel. But I need a firmer base than these provide. Sorry to return because they were great in other ways... Just not the right shoe for me and for my walks.

I was looking for a hiking shoe for my everyday trails that were more like tennis shoes and were water proof. These appeared to fit that description but they felt so confining when I tried them on- narrow in width and on the top of my foot felt the tongue pressing inside. Runs at least a half size too small, maybe even a full size too small, depending on the thickness of your socks. Footbed was cushioned enough and construction seemed ok and cute style. But just not right for my flat, wide feet. I wish they worked because they are more attractive in style and colors than most moderate hiking options.

I typically wear a women's 11. 5 when I can get it and 12s if I can't, even though12s are usually too big and I need to wear thick socks. These shoes in size 12 were way too small. I can't say I liked the styling either - the sherbert orange is a little too kid-ish for my taste and the shoes itself is kind of shapeless, looked like a brick on my foot. That said, they did seem like they'd be pretty comfy if they actually fit.

I've bought Columbia before in the past, figured they would fit comfortably right out of the box. It is common for blistering to happen so I'm keeping them but the back of my boney feet have blistered greatly. They are very wide, remind me of skate shoes, if you are looking for a slim narrow shoe you will not like these! So far waterproof though and the memory foam feeling of the sole I think will win me over once I break them in! Can't give 5 stars yet :)

Really waterproof, rather comfortable and soft. Very nice color as pictured. These are also warm enough for the most winter days in NYC.

How did I not know about these shoes before now? They are like walking on clouds! Really comfortable. Looking forward to wearing them in wet weather. Love the color combinations. Really happy with them. Just bought another pair for my son who will be slogging around his college campus in the rain this fall.

These have worked very well for the time I have worn them for nursing. Waterproof is good, they are also very comfortable and provide cushion for a full twelve hour on-feet shift.

Very comfortable shoe. Lots of cushion which is needed being on your feet all day. Being waterproof is also a wonderful feature. I'll have to purchase another pair for the future. I highly recommend this product.

Certainly waterproof, but more shoe than I was looking for. It is more like a hiker than I had hoped. I was looking for a waterproof walking shoe and I am not sure this will work for that.

Comfortable shoes, but my feet are already getting wet after having them for less than a month.

The shoes are comfortable and stand up to eight hours on a paved surface but waterproof, no. I work in a green house of a plant nursery and water plants all day long. Definitely have soggy feet when the day is over. Was disappointed.

I wanted to love these shoes. Why does it sound like I have plastic bags on my feet when I walk?

Unfortunately, I had to return this shoe. It just didn't fit my feet well. The size seems to be close, but it was tight across the top. It was definitely too narrow for me. The cushion in the shoe is great and it is lightweight. I think this shoe would work well for a narrow foot. I am looking for a shoe that would work well for daily walking and occasional hiking.

These are cute, but there's issues. I can't confirm if they're waterproof, but they crinkle? Like there's plastic inside? That's the least of the problems, though.
Firstly, I felt these ran small. I am normally on the smaller side of 7.5, but I needed an 8. No problem, just an adjustment. Got the new pair, and I almost wonder if an 8.5 would have been better. I think I'd slide around in them, though. Narrow toe box. Bad for your feet.
Then, I wore these for a few short, casual hikes, and they seemed fine. After that, I took them on a longer hike (16 miles round trip). That was when I learned that these shoes have a hard seam in the back, which really really hurt me while I was walking. This was 2 weeks ago, and my right heel still hurts when I try to put shoes on. It's slightly swollen and red :( I got some blisters, too, but they're not as bad as the way my right heel feels. I won't even blame them for the blisters, because I went on a long as heck walk. But the way they otherwise hurt my foot is directly correlated with the construction of the shoe. I am going to seek a refund because these were way off the mark for me and the cost was too high for me to let it go.

Have Newton Ridge Columbia hiking boots that I love (size 11) and was hoping to love these for warmer weather hiking. Unfortunately, my toes were crunched in the end. Not even close to the fit of my other Columbia boots. (And made a weird crinkly noise.)
