These are some of the very most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. The leather straps are so soft and the footbed is amazing. The heel is about 1", and I do find that I sometimes roll my ankle (I'm used to wearing flat shoes, though). I wish that they made these same shoes with a lower heel!

I had already purchased a pair of these in black, so I knew they would fit. I wanted the snake design since it was something I could wear with white pants that wasn't solid white and would also go with other colors such as black or navy. I wear a size 9W, and the foot bed in Comfortiva shoes fits me perfectly. The straps across the forefoot in this style are slightly roomy and can't be adjusted like the ankle strap, but if you're wearing them in summer heat and your feet swell a little, that might come in handy. Overall, this a great summer sandal.
