Zappos emailed me asking for a review, and I think the most positive thing I can say is that I am wearing these slippers right now. They are comfortable and the sole is suitable for quick trips outside, but smooth enough to not pick up dirt along the way. They are exactly what I was hoping for. If they came in a real shearling version, knowing what I know now, I would pay the difference for those, as I know from past experience, the synthetic fleece can get a little clammy.

Overall, I am pleased with these slippers. I would have preferred shearling, but I didn't want to spend $80 on slippers. So, I give these 4 stars for comfort, simply because the synthetic fleece is a little clammier and mats down faster than the real thing. The reason I really wanted to write this review is to mention the sizing. I take a 10 1/2 (45 Eur) and I ordered these in an 11. Anything smaller would not have been comfortable. These fit me just right - not at all big. So, I suggest going a half size larger than you usually wear. The fleece is thick enough, if you end up with a little extra room, the fleece will still give you a snug fit.

The width did not feel like a medium, too wide causing my feet to slide around while walking.

Make sure you order one size larger than your shoe size and the fit will be perfect!

I do not recommend this slipper because of the poor design. The height and leather lip of the heal bites into the achilles thus makes me concerned it will produce a blister if worn. Rest of the slipper is well made and designed. Slipper is a bit too rectangular. Fix the flawed rear heal design, lessen the rectangular shape and replace cotton cord with leather and that will make a it a winner.

They were/ are immediately wearable. Very warm for these cool Autumn days and nights. Well cushioned too. The sole is good for quick trips outside without changing shoes.

Tightening the ties makes them fit! They accommodated inserted arch supports. So...I'm happy with the purchase.

Normally take a wide shoe, this was on clearance so I bought it. It is a little tight but seems like it will stretch ok, loosened the tie's which helped. The length is good. I would say the medium size would be true to size.
