Love, Love, Love these sandals. I bought these on a whim with other shoes. I was looking for black sandals not grey...but once I put them on...I knew I wouldn't be returning them. I even tried to put them aside while making up my mind but kept thinking about them. The grey is a perfect neutral. The leather is soft, even the toe thong required no break in period. Now, Taos... just come out with more colors!

I wear a 10 narrow, have a hard time finding sandals. Birkenstock comes in narrow, but the toe box is too short for my second toe, so Birks are out. These sandals have an adjustable Velcro strap and stay on my feet. They are cute and almost perfect, which is saying a lot for me!

Love these sandals, especially love that I can adjust the fit. My foot is long and slightly narrow and I have trouble finding slip on sandals that fit. The charcoal color is great

I have really mixed feelings about these - I almost returned them. I needed a house shoe for the summer, and I use the Taos wool clog thing in the winter. It has great support. These, not so much - and they claim to. Nope. They are just fine. The footbed is also not the best or most comfy material. I hate shopping and so won't be looking for a replacement, nor could I return them by the time I realized they weren't gonna cut it. Hard meh - if I had it to do over again, I would not buy these.

I wish I could keep these, but they do not feel secure enough to walk in. With only one adjustable strap, the toe loop and angled strap are loose and give no support.

Very comfortable right out of the box, I was able to teach all day with these on! I ordered my usual size 9 and the length was perfect. The dark gray color is different and classy.

Perfect summer sandal. Very comfortable, good arch support, great neutral color especially for very fair skin. Worth the $

Having owned other Taos shoes, I find these to be the most comfortable with the softest leather. The support on the ball of the foot is very cushioned, something my feet require. The arch support and comfort are amazing and they are SO cute as well which is a bonus! I wish they had my size in the other colors I like, but I'll keep trying. Thanks, Zappos!

These are cute, well-made, cushioned, and comfortable with good arch support. I am a solid 7.5 and these were too long in a size 8. I like them enough to try the 7, but I'm afraid they will be too short. The toes were fine, but there was too much space at the heel. I think if my arch is aligned properly in the 7 that the heel will improve, but the toes may hang off. We will see! Side note, they are VERY cute and flattering on, and the toe piece is not irritating.

When I first put these sandals on, the toe loop felt stiff and did not mold to my foot properly. Since I loved the look of these shoes I decided to wear then on and off for a few hours over the course of a few days. In a very short period of time, couple of hours, the toe loop softened up, the shoe felt very secure and I love these shoes. I wanted black but like other reviewers, the dark grey is really nice and very neutral without being as harsh as black. I am a solid size 7 but if you tend to be a 7 1/2, you may need to size up.

Narrow, no room for long toes!

These were really unflattering. I have Taos sandals that I love, so I was disappointed.

I ordered these sandals based on the many positive reviews. They were right. Perfect right out of the box.

Love this brand of shoe but I have a very wide foot and these styles just don't fit well

The good: Love the toe loop (a feature I always love in sandals that's not as easy to find as I'd like) and they are just (barely) wide enough for my wide toes. Like the dark gray color which should coordinate well with everything, and always looking for a soft cork footbed rather than hard. The bad: The cushioning and arch support are not really adequate - I wish these were more comfortable. The straps could really use a bit of goring for stretch as you walk - I can't get them adjusted right because if I loosen they're too loose and if I tighten they squeeze my instep uncomfortably a bit as I walk. The biggest annoyance for me the the hissing sound! You may have seen on reviews of this and other sandals by this brand that they sometimes make a hissing sound of air escaping the footbed as you walk, and it's true. In my case, the left sandal hisses much louder than the right. I had hoped this issue and others would improve as I broke the sandals in, but I've been wearing them around the house for several weeks now without improvement. Overall, not a bad sandal, but not nearly comfortable or supportive enough to justify the price for me - and the hissing will drive me bonkers! I wish I could return them, but I have broken them in too much. Other notes for half-sizers like me: If you have short toes, I'd actually size down, and if you have long toes, size up!

I really wanted these to work because they were the most comfortable of 5 pairs of sandals I ordered. Alas, they are just not cute and the arch support was wrong for my foot. (I’m a slight supinator - walk more on the outside of my foot and the arch support in this shoe felt like a ping pong ball in the center of my foot.) That said, the leather is super soft and of 5 pairs, this is the only one where the footbed didn’t feel like it would make my foot sweat - my guess is it’s leather instead of plastic. They might be cuter in a different color - I tried the mustard/tan.
