First pair of Topos switching from Altras and man was this the right choice! Roomier than my v3s and better support with still being able to feel the road a bit, but with added stability and durability. Love this shoe so much I had to get a second pair. Even great for bopping around town in and dog walking! I also got a pair of MT-3s and I have no problems swapping between models as the weather needs it.

Finally! A running shoe that is built for exactly what my foot needs. They are perfect gym shoes too. I love that they give my feet free-range to move naturally. And they are so comfortable without feeling like I'm wearing a marshmallow on my foot! Highly recommend them!

I ordered my usual size 8 and they fit perfectly. They were not quite as cushiony as I was hoping, but I do like the flexibility of the sole so they are good for shorter runs. I discovered topos last year when I was looking for a new pair of trail runners and love the fit since have a narrow heel and wide toes. I'll probably try a model with more cushioning when my other pair of road sneakers is worn out.

I waited a while to write this review until I really had a chance to wear/run in these shoes. I love the way they feel with a bit more cushion than my favorite ST-2's and ST-3's. However as others have noted, they are too short. I normally wear a 7.5 in running shoes (6.5-7 in regular shoes). I did size up to an 8 but in retrospect should have gotten an 8.5. I can still wear them for shorter runs with a toe guard but otherwise my toes hit and hurt afterwards. I really wanted the extra cushion for longer runs so maybe a future pair in the larger size or the next iteration of this model.

Was looking for a shoe with a lower drop, and a roomier toe box. I am a solid 9.5 in New Balance, and most others, but this was short. Had to return.

I LOVE these, seriously the best fitting sneakers I have ever worn. Upon the advice of customer service, I got a full size up which was spot on. Unfortunately, after 3 months of EXTREMELY light wear, they are already starting to break down. Toe separating, heel fabric tearing and fraying, and premature wear on the sole. I've been in quarantine, just wearing these to the grocers 1x/mo, on short neighborhood walks, sometimes around the house (sitting). I always loosen the laces to put on/off.

I love running in this light weight shoe. However I have had multiple pairs sides rip open creating holes in the sides. The top basically tears away from the sole. Nice shoe but they do not hold up well.

Without question, these are my favorite running shoes. I actually just bought another pair even though don't need them yet as I love them so much! I had knee troubles and, after a lot of physical therapy and learning the Pose Running method, I switched to minimal-drop shoes with a larger toe-box. These are ridiculously comfortable, allow me to run on cement or trail without issue, and I no longer have knee pain!
These shoes have good bend, a cushioned back to the heel, and solid construction. They are easy to take on/off and last.
I also have a pair of the Topo Cyclones and those don't compare. The heel is too hard/thin that it likes to rub, the bottoms are harder, and I've had to glue some of the bottom rubber back together. Not all Topo shoes are the same!

I bought the trail/hiking style for when we go on moderate hikes in the mountains or to wear on long walks with different terrain. I love the roomy toe box and how the laces can be tightened to hold my foot in place. I tried other brands for hiking and my feet were very uncomfortable. There is no need to "break" these shoes in, they feel great from the start!

I love my new topos. The size I got is perfect with no socks. I think I will go up a 1/2 size and buy another pair to have some to wear in the winter with socks.

I struggled in the past w shoes that quickly became too wide in the last (midfoot), that I couldn't lace them well. These fit perfect as soon as I put them on and have remained a great fit ever since. Thanks
So sad that the other pair I was waiting to add to my cart, didn't go up to a 10.5

I love the wide toe box. It allows my feet room to swell when it's hot and humid, and space to stay warm when it's cold!

I love the toe width. It could use a little narrower heel. I probably sent back 50 pairs of sneakers till I found Topo sneakers. My feet hurt. All sneakers have narrow toes no matter what they say. Finally a company that didn't lie. And, you need sandals that accommodate orthotics, like fisherman sandals. Most sandals are not orthotic friendly.

This particular model of Topo I use for road running, walking, and everyday use. This model pairs cushion with the perfect toe box. I use these in conjunction with the Ultaventures for hiking. Across the boards this brand delivers for every activity.

Love these Topos. The toe box is perfect. I have a bunion and these shoes were not an issue straight out of the box. The cushioning is marvelous. I am always on the quest for shoes that are comfortable and when I find ones that work and feel so goodl I get two of them....just purchased a second pair. Thank you!

These shoes are comfortable and are also really supportive. I alternate walking and hiking and they function so well for both. I was pleasantly surprised at how light and breathable they are.

These shoes feel great right off the bat! I had been pretty loyal to the UltraFly 3s and am still alternating between those and my new Phantoms, but am really happy I gave these a try! I am between an 8 and an 8.5 and ordered an 8, which fit me well. I put them on and they felt right - love the toe box and they're still secure through the midfoot and heel. Excited to get some more miles in with them!

I'm 61 and have been running my whole life. I had a herniated disc operation years ago and my back began to hurt after I ran. These have not hurt my back !! I've worn zero drop shoes but these TOPO have a less drop also but are more stable and holds my foot more secure. Larger toe box is so great for my toes. I'm in Florida so it gets hot and feet swell so the toe box keeps my toes from cramming into the end of the shoe.

I am still testing out these shoes. But my first impression is... I like the roomy toe box and how secure my foot feels in the shoe. For me, the midfoot is a bit snug, so the material pinches a bit when I move - I'll wait to see how this fit feels over time. I want comfort and longevity out of a shoe, which is hard when your using them on granite and I am hopeful that Topo will deliver.
