My son LOVED these shoes. Unfortunately, the XW was much narrower than he needed once we finally got it on his foot. I was hoping since they open up SO MUCH, they would have plenty of room for his high instep, but while they opened up a ton, they just didn't have enough room for his foot. We made them disappear and I bit the bullet and ordered some new balance XW, knowing they would fit.

We ordered the 7XW and my kiddo couldn’t get his foot in. If you’re looking for a wide toddler shoe, this is not the shoe for you.

Tried this shoe for my 2 year old in both a size 6.5 and 7 based on his previous shoes being a size 6. He loved them but they were absolutely impossible to get on his feet. Ended up returning for something that was easier to put on.

I ordered XW - extra wide - and they were not at all wide enough.

My kids have pretty wide feet and wear size wide shoes from Stride Rite. I ordered the size wide in the Saucony brand and they seemed very narrow to me. They were much more narrow than the Stride Rites and didn't not fit my kids feet.

In our experience these ran small, we think due to the excess cushion on the part that supports the Achilles heel, we couldn’t even get it on his foot even with the extra wide openings which in concept looked great. We are returning them.

The size was correct. The width was too tight.

My son’s loves these shoes! He’s 3 years old and has a wide foot with a high arch. I love that these shoes are easy to put on/take off. I love that they have Velcro. Trying to tie laces on the shoes of a 3 year old is a complete pain. They are very sturdy, and have stood up well during his playtime. He wears them every day, and only wants to wear these shoes. It says they are machine washable as well, and I definitely plan on trying that out once he gets them too messy. They’re perfect for little ones!

MY 5 year old son wears these to school daily. They are easy to put on kid that doesn’t stay still. Great design

Perfect shoes in wide width for fat little toddler feet. He’s literally up and running with no issues. Light weight, easy for grown up to put on quickly, and wearing well.

Nice fit for my 20 month old and way easier to put on him. It opens up and makes it easier to put on his foot. I feel like I’m wrestling a baby alligator instead of an adult alligator when I put them on him.

These were perfect and very cute! My son needs an extra wide shoe and those are not easy to find- much less good looking. The velcro opening made it very easy to put on and his foot fit perfectly. We have bought “wide” shoes in the past that would barely close on his foot. I recommend these to anyone that has had trouble fitting their toddler’s wide or large foot.

I LOVE these shoes on my toddler. They are so cute. He loves them. They're easy to get on and off, and they're approved by the APMA. They fit well, and he can run super fast! Highly recommend.
