I read a LOT of reviews, many of which were very helpful, before trying four pairs of booties. The four I tried were (left to right in the photo) Rocket Dog Gemma, Born Ozark, Dr. Scholl's Brianna, and Life Stride Ally. To help others reading reviews I'll comment on all four. For reference, I wear a 9 in Chacos and a 10 in Asics. I have plantar fasciitis and a bunion on my left big toe. I'll start by saying that "moderate arch support" is a euphemism for the insole is cushioned, but it doesn't actually mean there is legitimate arch support like sneakers. All four pairs have non-removable insoles. Life Stride Ally, size 9.5 W, fit was fine, the cushioning was adequate, and heel height was perfect, but the fabric is oddly shiny and the shaft is so stiff it was banging against the front of my ankle just walking around the house. The Dr. Scholl's Brianna, size 9.5 M, had decent cushioning and I really liked the quiet rubber heel, but the fit was snug across the toe box and like the Life Stride pair, the material was uncomfortably stiff. Additionally, the zippers are on the outside of the boot, which I think is weird and could snag clothing when you cross your legs. The Born Ozark, size 9.5 M, is a little bit long, the leather is soft, the low heel height is great, there is slightly more support in the insole, and the soles are quiet rubber. The biggest drawback is that they make my feet look really big, like clown feet. Still thinking about this pair, might try a 9. The Rocket Dog Gemma, size 10 M, feel good across the toe box, but are too big overall because my heel lifts out quite a bit. They are super soft, although the cut out means you have to wear really short socks in black or gray so they are not noticeable, which isn't a problem with the other styles. The heel is noticeably taller on these compared to the other three. There is really no support in the insole, but I'm trying different inserts to see if I can make them work because I like the styling of these the best. It's ironic that the pair with the least compatible fit is actually the pair I like most, so I'm optimistic that a smaller size will work.

I am returning these shoes due to the fact that they are extremely uncomfortable. They are very stiff and will not bend at the front of the ankle. They dig into the front of ankle and are quite painful. They are very cute shoes, but just cannot wear them.

Got both a 7 and 7.5 in this style. Both shoes fit. The 7 fit better,which is my typical size. But when I walked the shoe was very uncomfortable because with each step, the front of my footBut rubbed against the front panel of the bootie. It may be that this style bootie is not right for my foot. So sorry because it is a cute, very practical bootie.

Buying these shoes was a no-brainer since I own them in 3 other colors already. They're my go-to boot all winter long and look great with everything. I usually wear inserts in my shoes, but these don't allow for that, still they're very comfortable, and I can wear them all day long without feeling any foot pain for back strain. I love these boots!

Really happy these came back in stock in the taupe color. Cute, very comfortable and the color will go with just about anything. Plenty of padding on the inside. Completely satisfied with my purchase.

These fit great! I have been on the hunt for a pair of black booties and am so excited that I finally found some. These are nice and light and very comfortable. Excited to wear them!

These feel great on the feet. Nice short, stable heel. Great with slacks or a skirt.

I liked everything about these but the heel was slightly higher than I’d like as a tall girl married to a short guy.

This bootie is super comfortable!!! And cute. However, the way its shaped makes my feet look huge so i am returning. I have really short legs so its not helping LOL.

Love everything about these boots, so I had to get another pair in a different color!

Wonderful. A super stylish boot that is really comfortable. I found it to be around a 1/2 size too big. My feet are a little on the wide side with a high arch and these boots fit both of those needs (in a regular width).

I really liked these but didn’t end up keeping them because I ordered so many! The quality is great though.

Terrible fit. The part around the ankles was really stiff, therefore trying to walk in them around the house hurt like ever! Don't recommend them

These are sooo cute! The fit is good w decent passing on the sole, but the ankles rubbed and were very uncomfortable. Sadly, Had to return

Love my new boots, my second pair. So comfortable.

I love these shoes. Very comfy and stylish, they look great with a pair of skinny jeans and are easy to wear everywhere. I do feel like my feet get a little hot in them. They don't breathe well after a few hours, so if you struggle with sweaty feet I would be aware. I don't have a problem with this though, I love them they look great for a night out.
