These are probably the most comfortable athletic shoes I've ever worn. No break-in period. I have a foot condition that makes walking painful but the cushioning in these makes my walks much easier.

I wear them to work out.

I have arthritis in my feet and it is hard for me to walk through stores for any length of time. But now these Skechers Max Cushioning Ultimate let me walk again for longer than I have been. I looked at all the other reviews and that was how I found these sneakers. I even worked outside without having to sit half way through the yard work. Thank you Sketchers!

I am on my feet all day as a NP, and these offer excellent support. I also have bunions and the wide width is great!

I got these for walking mu dogs in the city, on concrete sidewalks. I no longer have aching joints! I hope they last, since I generally walk 10-20,000 steps a day.

I bought these for my sister and to quote her "it feels like you are walking on pillows". She received several compliments and loves them!

I was advised by a customer service representative that this model most closely approximates the Shape_Ups that I have worn for years. While this model is adequate, I miss the additional cushioning and arch support I felt was available in ShapeUps.

All i own is Skecher's since i tore my achilles. Normally all the cushioning is awesome! But this pair does not have the same cushioning around the shoe and on top.(under laces)

I purchased these shoes because they were the closest thing I could get to the Shape Ups. I have problem feet and Shape ups were the only thing I could wear for many years now. It had nothing to do with shaping my body, like others, it was the comfort. When I put on a new pair of Shape Ups, I never felt the need to remove my shoes and just relax, my feet felt great! These Max Cushioning shoes are definitely not comparable to Shape Ups. I excitedly got them and put them on for a test walk. Definitely not max cushioning! Luckily after purchasing another pair of Skechers a few weeks back, that didn't work either, I purchased a set of memory foam inserts. I put those in my Max Cushioning shoes and now I have cushion! Other than that, the only thing I will change are these nylon type shoes strings, they don't stay tied tight, I constantly have to re-tie my shoes. Unless Skechers jumps on the "fan" wagon and brings back the Shape Ups, I will continue purchasing these Max along with my memory foam inserts!

The style and quality is nice but the shoe feels way too big for my foot. Also, I don't like the cushioning. I expected a memory type foam, supportive but good cushion, but what I got was a cushion that is too soft, I can feel the harder material underneath.
