Fit and size were great! I enjoyed these boots for 3 - 4 months until the lining inside ripped and they are impossible to take off as my heel gets caught on the ripped lining when I try to pull the boot off. The lining has completely ripped on one boot and has holes wanting to rip further in the other boot. This is unacceptable given I hadn't worn the boots that much since ordering them just 6 months ago. Really bummed I spent this kind of money on a low quality construction.

I have worn an Ariat dressy looking boot for about 5 years. A lot. They look almost new with good care of the leather. I like the removeable insole so I can insert my orthotics for maximum support. I also have a booty style Rockport that has served me well and is pretty comfortable but doesn't have a removeable insole. So I ordered both the Windermere II H2O and the Rockport Christy. In the end this boot meets my needs best. It is a heavier weight boot but is greatly made, waterproof, and warm when I put it on my foot. I can insert my orthotics and still wear a medium weight sock. I only wear leather and it's beautiful on this boot. I do have small calves and ankles so at first I wondered if the boot might be too sloppy looking but I added a boot sock/leg warmer at the top and it looks great with casual dresses, leggings or jeans. I wanted a boot to serve well enough in Michigan to wear to dinner, church, football games or anything in between and still keep my feet warm and comfortable. I think this is going to be a great boot for me.

The boot felt a little snug, especially in the toe area. I wear 7.5-8 and I ordered an 8. Even with the larger size, the toe felt a little snug even though the back part was plenty loose enough.

I love these country style boots! I have had a couple of pairs of these now over the years and they certainly get put to the test worn every day as my horses live out all year. These are the only boots I have had where my toes don't get cold and painful in the winter when mucking out and seeing to my horses. They look smart, and keep you warm and dry. They need to be cleaned off and re-waxed to remain in good condition and to remain waterproof being leather. If looked after they are excellent. Very comfortable. I am a size 6 and went for a 6.5 in my most recent purchase as I have had both 6 and 6,5 and going up half a size makes it easier to put thick socks on and be able to take of muddy boots without too much hassle!

I bought the Windermere boots for my daughter for Christmas. She has worn them every day since! They're perfect for everyday walking the dog, yard duties and look smart if we nip out for coffee afterwards as they clean up beautifully.

Fast delivery. Originally too big but easy and fast refund for return. Purchased half a size down to normal footwear and perfect. Comfortable to wear all day, lots of mud and puddles, feet kept warm and dry!

I normally wear a 9 in all shoes except Ariat boots i have many pairs and all are an 8 1/2 because i have found that once they break in they are to big if I get my normal size. These particular pair i got a 9 because i had a hard time finding an 8 1/2. So far the 9s fit great. We will see if they end up slightly to big after breaking in. The calve circumference is perfect for me.

I believe this boots fit like they're supposed to although they weren't the right boots for me.

I have these boots for just under 4 years, only wear them from November through to March. They are an expensive pair of boots and straightaway the seam lining dislodged around one of the heels but I've managed with that issue. I wore them for the first time this season today and after rinsing off the boots after a dog walk both are now leaking water and I can see small holes around the seams of the foot. 4 yrs isn't such a long time when only wearing 4 months of each year. Such a shame. Especially as cleaning them I used all ariat products

I got these for a birthday gift. I find them tight across the arch and struggle to get them on meaning I've damaged the heel fabric inside. I've since bought a larger size and I can't get them on well either. So comfy and waterproof too. Can't wear my first pair now due to the fabric being loose on the inside of the heel which is a shame as 1 they're expensive waste and also I lived to ride in them and walk the dog. The rest of the boot is in perfect condition. I'd recommend you go up a size in these

I bought these Oct 2022, once on they are comfortable, but the new design is very tight across the arch area, which means on warm days I struggle to get my foot in and can't use the shoe horn which means the heel lining pulls down with my foot, if I hadn't thrown away the receipt and has bought them nearer to home I probably would have returned them.

I have worn these at the yard especially in the wet weather and have found that they are not waterproof after 1hr.

I love these boots and once I get them on they are extremely comfortable and fit perfectly BUT they are pretty much IMPOSSIBLE to get on due to the fact that they are so tight over the arch of the foot. Recently I had cause to take them off while out and had to enlist the help of someone to pull them up with all their strength to get them back on; I really thought I would have to come home in my socks! I see others mention this problem and the fact that being so tight the over the arch the lining of the heel is being pulled away. Sadly the boots are now unwearable due to the near impossibility of getting them on.

I bought these boots for just country walks. I have literally worn them 10 times. The heel inside has started to come away. Although they are almost a year old, their wear is 2weeks worth. I used the long boot horn provided every time. I wrote to Ariat, they don't want to know. Save your money. Wish I had.
