I ordered Earth Alder Alma in Admiral Blue Soft Calf. It was a spontaneous decision. At first I was going to order the Bordeaux, which is lovely, but one click of the blue, and I changed my mind. The leather is wonderful quality and so soft - and they fit great. There is a nice arch support and the shoes are supremely comfortable. At first I thought there was an actual Mary Jane-type strap buckle, but it is a Velcro closure, which is a lot quicker and easier. This shoe is a winner!

There should be more than just a moderate or excellent arch support. It's not moderate, it's good, but not excellent. If you were born with high arches that have fallen and had plantars fasciitis this shoe will work well for you. If you have your own orthotics, the leather insoles are removable so you can use your own. That said, these are really nice shoes! I bought the "bordeaux" color and it's so much nicer than the picture. It looked to me like a reddish brown. But it's a nice deep red. The soles are flexible and stable. These are good shoes. I have 2 pair of them now, in the black and dark red.

These AMAZING shoes run true to size. I'm a size 10 and I bought 3 pair in black leather. I have my own successful bodywork business, on my feet all day and really require extra support in the arch which these shoes provide me. I HIGHLY recommend these wonderful shoes as they're great for posture as well and look fabulous whether you're wearing something casual or dressy. LOVE THEM!

This shoe is great and good for my poor feet. I'd been relegated to Birkenstocks and Running shoes for years because of my foot problems. Then I got a job where there was more dress required than casual. I needed nicer shoes. After searching and driving them nuts here at Zappos with all the returns, I finally found them! The insoles are pretty good for a woman's she, however, even better they are removable. My good insoles with a metatarsal arch fit perfectly! My only issue with the EARTH shoes that I have purchased (this style included) is that the leather is so thin it scuffs easily and will tear and peel.

These are not as comfortable as I'd hoped. They rub on my pinkie toes and heels. I do have a wider foot, so these may work for narrower feet. They are cute. I am going to try to use a shoe stretcher to save them!

Fit perfectly. Very cute! Good for casual or dressy. I am not a big fan of this type of shoe but tried them on in a whim and loved them. Very comfy from the get go.

I bought the 8. I normally wear a size 8 1/2. I have short toes and the 8 was right on except I wish I could have got them in wide which they do not have. The 8 1/2 would be too long I am certain. Beautiful crafted shoe with beautiful soft colored leather. Just need the wide width for bunions. Zappos is the greatest place to shop. Customer service just doesn't get any better!

I remember wearing Earth shoes as a teenager. They were comfortable and this new iteration did not disappoint. I don't wear heels often because of back issues, so a cute flat is essential. The red color adds brightness and personality. I would recommend this shoe for comfort and style at work, with a dress or slacks or casual wear.

Just bought a second pair. These are so comfortable with no break in period for me. I work in retail and am on my feet all day. The arch support is great and the foot bed is soft. My fore foot is on the wider side and these don't pinch my toes. Wish they were more stylish, but I have plenty of shoes that are cute and hurt my feet!

It's going to take some wearing several times before feeling comfortable. Right now they're hurting the back of my foot above the heel and starting to blister.

Best all day work shoe I have. Looks sharp enough to wear to a meeting. I work in a large school and walk all day.

These are incredibly comfortable shoes with good arch support in just the right place for my feet. Classic mary jane style without being clunky. Sadly, the right shoe squeaks so I will be returning hoping for a couple of pairs that don't. When I find a particularly wonderful pair of shoes, I buy two pairs, and these are definitely two pair shoes!

I have foot issues that require a strap so and a wider toe box. Hard to find. This shoe provides both. I just wish it came in wide. But these will be just fine.

My normal size in Earth shoes is 7 W. As this style comes only in M, I first ordered a 7.5 M, which were much too tight. I returned them for a size 8, which fit much better and if they don't cut my bunions , will keep. Even though they aren't a perfect fit I can tell they would be supremely comfortable on a more normal foot.

I have narrow feet and bought these base on another review. They are narrower than a medium width I think and definitely narrower heel. This is the first shoe maybe ever when I put it on, it feels like it fits my narrow heel! The problem is that without socks they ALMOST fit. With socks, they are too tight. I need to try the 8, but I'm not sure if I don't want a shoe with more heel on it. The marine blue is pretty but a lighter color than in the picture. I wish the blue had been the color in the photo.

The fit felt so good as soon as I put them on. A great shoe. I like that the strap is different. I usually wear Dansko and Taos, but I am happy with this shoe. I also like Zappos - quick delivery and free shipping. Wonderful!

I normally wear an 8 1/2 M. I have short toes and have to go down to an 8W sometimes. I tried the 8W in these and they are perfect. Arch support is excellent in this pair of flats. They are beautifully made, sturdy and soooo feminine which I desire most. I have multi-problem feet with bunions and stiff toes... and I am comfortable in these shoes. The red pair, and the grey pair suede are my favorites. Ordered a black smooth leather for rainy days.

I purchased 2 pairs of the Earthies Capri style and wore them all over Europe last year. I've been looking for a new style to replace them, so I'm very happy that the Earth Alder Alma is very similar and equally comfortable. My original shoes were only available in suede, so I purchased these in blue and black leather. The quality is superior, as is the fit. I'm going back to Europe this spring, and my new Earth shoes will definitely go with me!

These shoes are quite nice looking in person. The 11M was wide enough for my bunions, but the shoes were slightly too short - my toes hit the end of the shoe. Sadly, returning these.

Consider this the perfect shoe in ALMOST every way. It is a smidge large for me because I normally wear a 5.5 but there isn't a 5.5 in this shoe. Also, there is a squeak within the rubber sole. It will squeak when I press hard down on it not even when standing on floor or carpet. If I don't resolve it, I will have to return.

Great shoes and cuter than anticipated! From the first wearing of these shoes, they felt great! They have great arch support, and are very comfortable right out of the box.

I always wear a 10 and these fit great. For a no -sneaker shoe I feel like the arch support is wonderful, will do 3-4 miles of walking in them today and feeling very good.
