Hat fit like a glove, which I expected. It also looks fantastic and is everything you'd expect of a Tilley. I only gave it 3 stars though because it was shipped TERRIBLY!! This was a replacement for a hat I lost in transit and therefore not warrantyable. I was so excited to have it "back" that I ripped the tags off before noticing that the crown foam insert was completely bent on one side, having been damaged in storage or in shipping. How disappointing!! So now I am chasing down how to get a replacement for the insert. Jeez. Thanks Zappos for crappy delivery of my hat. :(

The materials and workmanship are very good. This hat is guaranteed for life to not wear out and it probably won't. As for fit, these hats run very small. I am a 7 3/8. With this hat I had to take a 7 5/8 and it still an awkward fit. The crown is almost round where any other hat with a brim all around is oval. It makes this hat uncomfortable.

The perfect golf hat after a couple little tweaks. The chin strap is worthless for a golfer - so that part got tucked in the hat’s pocket. I then tied string tightly on the chin straps where it enters the eyelets to always keep tension on the rear trooper style slide system. I played in 20 mph winds and it worked perfectly. I also had my wife sew a 1 inch magnetic button on the outside hat band for my ball marker as the brim is not stiff enough to support a slide-on magnetic ball marker clip.

Love the hat, you guys need to stock the larger sizes more often. Actually needed the bigger one but was tired of wait and just made this one work.

I bring this hat with me on every vacation. And in between. I am constantly wearing it out in the yard gardening and whatever other adventure I'm on. The air flow makes it so comfortable. It is my go to hat

Replacing hat that my husband lost after having for 15 1/2 yrs!!!!! Cant stand to see him without it! Was still in excellent condition!! His name is inside it so still have hopes of a return! Worth every penny!

My husband is an Australian farmer out in all weathers. He hasnt taken this hat off his head for many years. It is time to buy a new one . I will definitely be getting the same hat again.

I have owned Tilleys since 20-25 years ago, I just used the lifetime warranty on the oldest one and it was a really essy process.

I'm out on cruises, so not home to receive a hat yet. A guy on a trip had this hat that looked good and functional, better than anything I had for the hot sun, so I asked what it was. He was quite proud and pleased with it when he showed me his Tilley hat. So here am looking at them, expecting to buy when I get back.

This is the best hat for large heads. I bought the size 8 XXL and it fits perfect! I've had it for over a year now and it still looks brand new. Great quality.

I own four tilley hats. I play golf 3 times a week and love the double strap which allows me to wear these with confidence in the wind. I just bought an LTM5 in white. The only thing that could improve this is if Tilley sewed a dark colered fabric under the front visor like they do in every quality baseball cap. I'll modify this myself, but wish it was sold this way.

Ive owned an Airflo LTM5 hat for a few years now at it has been a stalwart companion on all of my backcountry trips in that time. Comfortable, looks good, provides excellent protection from the sun, and is easy to clean. What more do you want from a hat? Highly recommend!

This is the best hat I have and I do have many. I perspire profusely while working in the garden or around the property. The sweat gathers on the brim and pours off when I tilt my head down. Its a great hat for preventing cancer while outside and it breathes! I purchased this in Lahaina a year ago last September for my 50th anniversary. So after the fires swept thru the town I have this hat for memories!

I have had my LTM5 for about 14years, wear it almost daily in the warmer days doing Bird surveys, working on nature reserves , and just Birding it keeps the Sun and rain off me but is cool to wear even in hot weather. In the winter I wear a Tilley warm hat Tilley are great folks and really look after you

I have owned several Tilley hats. Liked them all. Love this one. Great fit, looks sharp and keep my head cool in the Arizona heat.
