I've been traveling the world on just this pack since I got it, and my girlfriend uses the same pack... but there is a major flaw in the suspension system on both of our packs. The adjust points continuously pop out every time you swing the pack onto your shoulders. Of course, once the attach points aren't connected then the pack is no longer on the suspension system and is hanging off of your shoulders. Not only this, but the frame then digs into your back while you hike. I've tried everything to get them to stay in, but they pop out every time. This pack was so close to being perfect, but I'm going to retire it after my current two month trip to Asia.

I carry 6 days worth of clothing plus more gear total weight was 7-8kg while backpackering hiking the central-south america.
It's the most comfortable bag ever when its hot on very long day hiking.
The hips strap pocket could a bit bigger.

The Farpoint Trek 55 has replaced my old Patagonia "Black Hole" bag that disintegrated after 28 years.
This pack is vastly superior in every way. I bike commute to work, don't own, (or want,) a car, and all groceries and laundry get moved via pack.
I love the one big pocket design, and am actually using the hip and waist straps daily. There are attachment points everywhere. The rain cover makes a passable laundry bag.
My only gripe is that the main zipper is rather stiff and can require more focus to close than I would prefer, (maybe zipper grease?)
Would buy again and recommend. If Osprey makes a 40-45 liter version of the Trek, I will buy it.
