Really wanted to love these but they look too much like old lady shoes.

After losing a considerable amount of weight, I found my reliable "dress" shoes no longer fit. I've always liked the Clarks brand, and this style was just what I was looking for - right heel height, attractive suede with trim. The fit is comfortable and offers enough support. I'm very happy with the shoe. I know on reviewer thought they looked too much like "old lady shoes".... but hey - I'm an old lady and I like them fine!

These are perfect work shoes for me - not too high, comfortable for walking, and go well with pants and skirts. I really like the shape of the shoes - I feel good wearing them. They are quite cushioned and supportive, and the fabric strip around the edge is soft are comfortable. My only complaint is that they started a bit too tight in width near the ball of my foot (but only on my bigger foot), but they seem to have stretched out some.

The Navy is waaay smaller than the Black in the same size. I thought I received the wrong size and could barely get the shoe on my foot. The Black pair fits great. What the heck?? * Need to wear them around the house to make sure (correction to my previous review)

The shoes were very comfortable but there is a material trim around the front that makes it look like you are wearing no-show socks that are showing. I did return these because with pale feet, it is very obvious.

I tried the shoes on size 7.5 which is my regular size but it was too long from toe to heel. Then I ordered the size 7 and it was very tight around my toes. So I returned both. My policy is if the shoe does not feels comfortable the first time you try it on it will never be comfortable and they will end up in the back of the closet. I love the style, the heel, was very comfortable and steady, the inside was very soft.

So comfortable! The upper is long enough that it does not cross my foot right at my bunions. I tried the wide and the medium width of this shoe since wide shoes often slip off my heel. The wide is great with the aforementioned bunions, and the heel is snug enough to stay on my foot.

I’ve been looking for shoes to fit wide enough for my bunion and still fit my heel. I generally wear 8.5 wide. Wide width was still too narrow and size too long. Disappointed but will continue my search. Comfortiva had a little better fit.

Another failure in my ongoing search for a comfortable basic black pump that will accommodate a prominent bunion on one foot. I tried this in W and my normal size 9, alongside Walking Cradles Jessica. They all gapped at the heel while still impinging on the bunion. The search continues. Jessica is a slightly more attractive style than Chartli, but none were truly comfortable.

Great and I have foot issues. Arthritic toe and bunion. I usually wear a wide but Clark’s runs pretty true to size so I took a chance and they feel really good!

These are beautiful. The suede is really exquisite. My only reason for returning was that they looked too much like flats on me (maybe because my feet are big). But if you are looking for a comfortable, beautiful lower heel pump I’d definitely recommend.

I just received these today and will nerf to wear them around the house a bit to make sure but so far I'm very pleased. I was looking for a shoe to wear with jeans or dress slacks and this could be a winner. I wish tbe toe box was a bit more roomy bit they feel comfortable. I actually like thd elastic edge, often times shoes cut into the top of my foot (high instep) and I don't have tbat issue with this style. How about making some additional colors and a black croco!

This low heel is perfect. Design made it very easy to wear right out of the box. The praline color is a nice neutral and can be worn with dresses or pants.

These Clarks fit perfectly. I had 3 pairs of different shows in my size - 9W. This was the only pair that fit. I had to return the others.

The second time around everything was perfect!!!!

The Clarks Chartli Fame shoes are lovely; tailored, good height, nice heel for office or after. I tried the 6 1/2 W, my suggested size, and they were about an inch too long in the heel. Slipped up and down, really poor fit. So I ordered the 6 W and it's way too tight across the toe. Maybe if there were a WW that might work, but, not available. Hate to return these, they're very attractive.

These Chartli Fame pumps have to be the most blissfully comfortable shoes I have ever slipped my feet into. But simply "too mature looking," to put it politely, entirely because of the shape of the toe box. A tiny tweak, making it slightly more square-ish perhaps, would have made all the difference. I put them on with pants of different lengths hoping to making them okay, but no. That's not to say they wouldn't be fabulous for other women, but me, sadly returning. P.S. Also, I bought them from Shoolu.com, which doesn't allow any reviews, so needless to say won't shop there again! Came back to Zappos!

I am a straight 9 medium in everything except boots and sneakers. These pumps were nice and just what I wanted, but they were too small, by at least a half size.

They were too wide. I guess I need narrow.

It's snug at the widest part of my foot, at the ball. The heel slips a Lot! If I had ordered the regular width, it would have been to narrow at the ball, but just right at the heel!!

The shoes fit fine once I added pads into the heel to avoid slipping. They felt comfortable at first and then started hurting the bottom of my big toe - perhaps my toe is hitting a seam. I’ve never had this happen before and I’m disappointed
