I want to keep these so badly! I just can't because the calf is way too big!! Very comfortable and warm it seems.

I'm very happy with these! I bought an returned a few pair of boots, and these made me feel like cinderella -- perfect fit. I love the quality of the suede, and the calf being wider so it fits my athletic calves even over a pair of skinny jeans (but without looking bulky or TOO wide). Love these! Highly recommend!!

Oh my goodness I wanted to love these. Born makes a beautiful boot and the leather is soft and lovely. However, on my leg, the zipper area would buckle and bite into my calf. If you have a slender leg I imagine it would be a better fit. The arch is also pronounced. Returning and continuing my search for a tall boot that is office (and Boston-winter) appropriate!

I own a blue suede pair of Born boots from two seasons ago that I love; was very happy to see these boots are very similar. Yes, the calf is a little wider than I might like, but it's not a deal-breaker. They are elegant and dressy and very comfortable. Born boots are very good quality and rarely disappoint.

I wanted to keep these boots so badly, but unfortunately the shaft circumference was just way too big. I double checked and these are not listed as a wide shaft, but certainly looked like it. I don't have particularly small calves, just normal I'd say, but 16 in is way too wide, so I had to return. Continuing the hunt for the perfect boot!

I really love these boots! It was my husband's idea for me to get a pair of tall boots. Of course, the first placed I looked was Zappos. I have always worn booties, since I am only 5" tall. They fit great & are really comfortable. The heal is the perfect size for me.

Fit was great! Simple, great color of brown suede and comfortable. Glad i bought them.

I love these boots! They are nice, classy boots that will go with everything. Unfortunately for me, they are a little too tall for my 5'3 frame and I regretfully had to send them back.

the boot fit well in the foot, but the calf was much to large for me. I could put my entire hand down the back of the boot. I am disappointed as the boot lining is soft and the boot is so comfortable.

Oh, these felt so good, but agree with the other reviewers - too wide at the top. Was hoping to have a dressier black boot to wear with skinny jeans/pants and skirts/dresses for work. Sadly, a fancier Cole Haan boot won out (but this one was comfier!)

These boots look great, but were too narrow across the ball of the foot. Also, the description stated “full” interior zip, but it is only a half zip. Not terribly inconvenient, but not as expected.

This is a beautiful boot but as others have said, the top is far too big. If not for that, I would have definitely kept them but unfortunately, they had to be returned.

These boots were absolutely gorgeous. I went against other reviews and decided to try them myself, however the reviews were correct, the calves are so wide I couldn't keep them. If you have larger calves these boots will be amazing. So sad to return them, have been looking for a similar style for a long time!!

The shoe portion of this boot fit really well and was incredibly comfortable. The overall quality was great. My issue and why I returned them was the width of the top of the boot. I have medium to large calves and even so there was a huge gap between my leg and the boot. If you want a more fitted look I do not recommend these boots.
