Lightly worn and comfortable but cheaply made

I bought these shoes for The wet weather in Seattle. From the first moment I put these on the fit and comfort was spot on. My feet were always dry, even in the most soggyist of days. Unfortunately 1 1/2 months ago, I had a blow out, on the left shoe. These shoes should not have blow out, with only 65 days of wear. That was a bummer of a day. I really love these shoes. Since there are very few Companies that makes shoes that fit me.

After having worn them a few times the right shoe arch has become uncomfortable. The arch feels like a lump in the wrong place. It's unfortunate because this took several wears before the issue became apparent. I like the boots, they are nice looking however, I'm not sure I'll be able to continue to wear them. Somewhat disappointed as these were costly for me.

The boots fit fine. I am so disappointed with them. They are supposed to be waterproof. I work at a winery. I have only worn them about 5 times and already my feet are wet. At least the Columbia brand I usually get (you didn't have any of those) last at least 4 months before my feet get wet.

I love these shoes, despite the lack of arch support. I just added athletic inserts with medium arch support, which solved the arch problem and added a little cush, and now they are perfect. I have tried on all kinds, looking for a wide width hiking shoe that has enough support and ball of foot cushion, and these are the winners! (After inserts, which is why I took a star off for comfort.) They are also super cute, which is not a reason to buy hiking shoes, but it sure doesn't hurt!

Ordered these for a trip to Banff Canada. 5 days and close to 45 miles hiked and 250 flights climb (per iPhone health app) worked and felt great. Comfortable and stable for moderate to hard hikes Great boot

Very comfortable out of the box, walked in house about 15min and thought these were going to be great. Feet hurt after 2hrs

I really like the feel and look of these shoes. Columbia has become my go to winter shoe and hiking shoe. They have kept my feet dry and warm in the winter and comfortable hiking in Colorado this past summer.

This is the third pair of this style Columbia shoes in about ten years. I've never actually worn them out. They start as my walking shoes, gradually become my work shoes and end up as my painting shoes.

The fit is perfect for me. I normally wear a 13 W but order 14 in these to give my toes a little extra room.

I’ve worn my previous 3 Columbia hikers in a variety of terrains and have for that reason didn’t hesitate to get another pair. The other held up for a very long time with constant use not just hiking but on day to day yard chores or the occasional errand. These are super comfortable from day one, in icy snowy weather. I did wear warm socks and my feet were comfortable. The others I bought were more plain, this design is stylish ( grey) and it looks great with jeans and a coat. So I’ll be using these regularly. Let’s see if they hold up like the others did...
