Within the first hour of wearing this shoe, I did a backward lunge type motion and the front rubber sole completely fell off! These outside rubber soles are not very durable which is a shame because I like the rest of the shoe.

The shoe is not comfortable in the outer heel portion - it's too stiff ms rubs a blister above shoe line.

Great sneakers, perfect fit. Not enough arch support till I added Ha-pads longitudinal metatarsal arch support, size Extra Small, which I often need. The problem was that I require an inflexible insole, and these sneakers have a flexible sole. I wish sole flexibility were one of the parameters Zappos recorded, so that I could use it as one of my search terms.
I'd also recommend:
Dansko, Abeo and Hoka each offer some styles whose sole is inflexible.

Great quality with lots of cushioning. Unfortunately they were not a good cut for my feet. I tried the medium and wide widths of this shoe and both felt wide in the toe but not for the shape of my foot.

These were a close second on the two pairs I ended up comparing. The Skechers I ended up choosing seemed to have a bit more support and padding. I felt these made my feet roll inward just a little, and that was a deciding factor

This is my third pair of Ryka walking shoes. They feel almost like slippers when you first put them on. Great support for walking.

I am normally a size 8 in sneakers and flat shoes and a 7.5 in heels. I needed to go up a size in this shoe. I had a pair of Rykas previously, though, and was an 8. That being said, I find these shoes comfortable with great traction. I walk on sidewalks and roads that are uneven, and I like the stability these shoes provide. I would recommend getting them in a half size larger so your toe does not hit the front of the shoe.

I have an old pair of Ryka athletic shoes (a style no longer sold), so I ordered the same size, although Zappos' had suggested I order a half size up. Glad I stayed with my original size because they fit great. Nicely cushioned foot bed. Comfortable toe box.

I own numerous pairs of these shoes in many colors and have been wearing this style for several years. They are the MOST comfortable sneakers I have ever worn. They feel like walking on clouds.

I wore a pair of Devotion Plus 4's for three weeks of walking in Europe and loved them all day long. Only negative was they were not so good on cobblestones that I could feel through the soles. But super comfortable the rest of the time.

I saw the Ryka brand shoe on a couple of websites and did a little research. These are the most comfortable tennis shoes right out of the box. I generally wear a 9 1/2 narrow and purchased these in a size 10. I'm sure this is my first pair of many to add to my walking shoe collection. I really appreciate different colors for different outfits.
