I bought these a month ago and am overall very happy with the purchase. If you purchase online, be advised, the colors do vary compared to what is shown on the site. Mine were much lighter than the ones shown in the photo, however, after applying FRYE's Weatherproof Spray, they did become darker; which is worthwhile knowing incase that is something you want to avoid. As for the look, my only critique is the level of toe curl up. Although this is 100% depicted in the photo, but I failed to notice it until I tried them on. Even though it doesn't look bad, I prefer the flatter sole/toe of my Frye John Addison Chelsea boots.

The color is awesome, the shape is so good and the leather is incredibly soft. They already feel and look broken in. I can dress these up or down, black or brown!

Lots of looks and complements. I have the oiled version but are very similar save the color and patina. love the sole of these vs the all- rubber, just give a little more character, super comfortable. Happy with my purchase

Tried this boot in a couple sizes. Still a little large. But the look and quality is phenomenal.

While the shoe leather itself looked great (WAY DIFFERENT FROM THE PICTURE) it looks like they used a wire brush for about 30 minutes around the bottom edges of the boots. I liked scuffed and worn in looking, but this just looks like I was an idiot in caring for my shoes. The worst part of these shoes was this was my 4th pair of fryes, but this same size pair fit like clown shoes. I've always been an 11.5 and ordered a half size or full size down depending on reviews. This pair order about a size and a half down unless you plan on spray painting them into clown shoes.
