I wanted to love these boots but they just didn't work for me. I usually have trouble ordering shoes due to problems with bunions, wide feet and a high instep, but generally a 7W or 7.5W works for me. I ordered a 7.5W figuring I would need a little room for socks this fall, but they were a little too long and too wide and it seemed that sizing down to the 7W would be too small. Also, the insole has formed support but it hit my arches in the wrong place and was very uncomfortable. The instructions say to wear them for several days to "work into" the correction but the misalignment was too severe for me to believe that. Finally, the color of the nubuck-suede is not a true black, it's more of very deep charcoal or shadowy black. It's nice but not the look I wanted.

Feels true to size and width. Decided to keep and try them out despite the fact that there is a weird ridge near the arch. When I wore them for a while around the house to break them in, it almost feels like the arch support is molded into the wrong part of the shoe. Going to see how they hold up in weather and if that issues disappears.

I have a few pairs of Vionic shoes and love the arch support. These boots are no exception. They did fit a little strange but it was doable. I am a 9 in Vionic and the length fit me perfectly as usual. The heel area is a little wide in these boots, which is an issue I have never encountered before. The Joslyn boot became much more comfortable on the second or third wear, there is a break in period. The boot is stylish and claims to be weatherproof...i will put that to the test soon enough with a New England winter. My main complaint is that these boots are very expensive considering. It isn't like the material or workmanship is above and beyond a $90 pair of boots.

This taller ankle bootie is more comfortable than the shorter Vionic Serena style, which chafed at my ankles. But, since I much prefer the warmer "Greige" color vs the Charcoal grey offered for this style, I ended up going with the Vionic Serena. It comes in Greige and is almost as comfortable. I do wish all of these styles came with as much arch support as the Vionic Tide sandals, which are my all-time favorite for comfort!

Ordered a wide to accomodate for a bunion but then too wide in the ankle.

The arch support is really strange - there are two bumps, one at the arch and another in the middle of the foot, closer to the toes. It felt to me like there was a rock in my shoe. They also run narrow - I ordered the wide & it still felt tight.

The style and fit of the Joslyn boot were excellent. My big problem is that the zipper on both boots hit right at my ankle bone which was very painful. I tried extra thick socks but that did not help. Otherwise I loved these boots. Sadly, I have sent them back.

Too narrow around my bunion. Such a problem finding a shoe with a wide toe box.

These booties were really cute in the picture but the fit at the top of my arch area gaped. Really not flattering. They also fit too loose at the ankle. I was disappointed because I thought with the knit cuff it would be a close fit and look great with leggings. I love Vionic and have many pairs. This style didn’t make the cut. I returned them.

I had to order twice- the first pair was too big all around, so I ordered a half size down. The second pair fit my foot better, but was still way too big around the ankle and slipped off my heel when I’d try to walk. I’m returning both, sadly. I loved the look and really wanted these to work!

As stated in other reviews there is a weird ‘bump’ at the ball of the foot. After a few wears it appears that this is to level out the foot so that you’re not on your tiptoes?? I like these shoes- They are comfortable and cute. They look good with skinny pants/jeans. My type of shoe is an ‘orthopedic’ type that does not look like it, and these are that!

Love these boots. I only wish they weren't so pricey!
