After reading the reviews, I initially ordered a half size up. When they arrived, they were too big. Even with extra thick socks. I exchanged for my normal size. I found the sizing guide to be pretty accurate and should have ordered an 8.5 to begin with. I have a very normal, very average 8.5 foot. I did not find the toebox to be snug, as others have stated. They are incredibly warm and comfy. Soft leather so no breaking in required.

I love these boots! I was walking in them all over NYC the day after they were delivered. So comfortable and no break in required. I have a bunion so have a difficult time finding comfortable shoes. These were very comfortable right out of the box. The sherpa type material on the tongue makes that part of the shoe particularly comfortable. There also is a soft lining that adds to the warmth and comfort. I am between an 8 and 8.5. These were a perfect fit in an 8.5.

These boots are so comfortable, I feel like I'm wearing slippers. Once on, I don't want to take them off. They were comfortable right out of the box. They do run small, so I sized up 1/2 a size. I have narrow feet and wear very thick socks with these, and they fit perfectly when tightly tied.

I live in Montana and bought these boots looking for a daily wear to keep my feet warm. These boots are not only stylish they are warm and comfortable. I bought the burro color and have gotten so many compliments on them. I have not worn any other shoe or boot since I bought these 2 months ago. I actually traveled in them taking two flights, walking miles through airports for a 12 hour day and they were so comfortable. The only warning I would give is that the leather does begin to ware out a little, but honestly it just adds to the charm and character of the boot. I love it!

These live up to their name - cozy! Definitely kept my feet warm in our freak October snows last week. The toebox is a little narrow for my (admittedly wider) feet; I bought an 8.5 initially and sized up to a 9. Still a teeny bit snug in thicker socks, but will be perfect in normal socks, I'm sure. Super cute - love the style.

Following the other reviewer recommendations I sized up a half size. As these are winter boots I wear them with heavier wool socks that I can tuck my pants into to take full advantage of the stylish sheepskin tongue (smartwool , I highly recommend). The boots fit well. They have great traction for Western New York Winters, are well made and are a quality boot.
So far so good. Will update should things change.

The Phoenix boot looks great, feels comfortable, and has a cushy sole. I wanted a warm boot that still looked stylish, and I think these will fulfill that need. I usually wear a size 6.5 shoe and a 7 boot, but I bought a size 7.5 for this boot, and it's perfect. I think the wool sherpa and the slightly thinner cut of the boot requires a larger size, especially if you like to wear thicker socks.

These are so great as far as style, but sadly, did not fit right. I am a size 8. I tried the 8 & 8.5; the 8 fit true to size, but they are a tiny bit on the narrow side. I had plenty of room as far as length in the front & the back of the boot. The reason I am returning them though is because the toe box was too low for me. I, also, ordered the 8 from Amazon, & for whatever reason that pair was more roomy in the toe box. However, the toe box was still too low.

This is a more elegant looking snow boot than most other clunky cold-weather boots out there today. But, it is really stiff. I don't have wide feet nor narrow, and this felt really tight around the front of my foot. It would probably break-in since it's leather, but it felt so stiff that I didn't want to take the chance that it wouldn't because I own other Sorrell boots, and those haven't broken in yet and it's been over a year (I don't wear them every day, so that could be the reason).

These definitely run small. I wear a 9 to a 9 1/2 so I ordered a 10 & they where still small. I would have returned these for a bigger size if they felt comfortable but they did not. They felt pretty flat, no support and just didn’t feel comfortable. I have flat feet & Plantar fasciitis in one foot so if it doesn’t feel good in my good foot then it will be torture on my bad foot. For the price I expected a lot more support

I sized this shoe up by a 1/2 up than my normal size which fit better around my bunion and toes but the overall fit wasn't quite right on the side of the shoe which rubbed against that bone that protrudes on the side of your foot. This would have been rather uncomfortable after a short time of wearing them. Sadly, I will have to return them.

the boots are great but each boot had a different color/ texture of the sherpa, one being even thicker and wider fur than the other, so they looked ridiculous one etc. Not sure how this happens on Sorel. So very weird. Otherwise they seemed perfect and were exact to my normal size shoes. Don't size up.

These are adorable. They fit great even on my wide 10.5 foot and seem comfortable out of the box. HOWEVER the quality is not good. My first time trying them one one of the grommets through which the laces thread detached from the boot. I will obviously be returning as I didn't even get a chance to wear them before they broke. Unfortunate because they are otherwise great (looking) boots!
