Beautiful boot, very well made very good arch support and I loved the tread for our icy winters. Test walking in house felt very stable. Sadly for me the fit for even with the nicely rounded toe box - was not room enough to accommodate my bunion and sensitive toes. I highly recommend these otherwise. I especially liked the way my heel felt supported, steady and secure in this boot. So sad to return. Thanks Zappos for having these fine boots available and your shipping and return policy - so helpful for those of us that have to really search for comfort.

This boot looked great but was extremely uncomfortable. I ordered a half size up and still the seam across the top of the boot cut into the top of my foot painfully, especially over the big toe area. Why do they make these so tight?

the fit was so snug across the vamp when i tried them on that i ordered a half size up. a half size up was too long. i kept the 7s (bc i like them so much otherwise) and after a few days, they’re perfectly comfortable. finally a perfect boot for work that’s also waterproof and doesn’t look like a hiking boot!

Love, love, love them! So mod and yet extremely comfortable. Great arch support. They run a little narrow, which is fine for me, but may not be for others. Wish they made a knee-high version!

Wonderful boot! They may not look like much in the pictures, however they were just what I was looking for: neutral color, taller shaft (past ankle), snug fitting around ankle, and attractive 2-tone leather (smooth and suede). I am a true 7.5 but got them in an 8 so I could wear thicker socks in them. I have to be hones I would have preferred the camel brown suede, but got them in major because the suede just would not hold up as well as a darker color. Highly recommend!

I loved these boots when I got them but I am very disappointed in the quality. I’ve had these boots for ~ 1 month . I’ve only worn them to work at my office job.Today I noticed the seam attaching the boot to the zipper has come undone. I was hoping to wear these for multiple winter months but unfortunately only got to wear them a couple of weeks. My sister bought the same boots from Sorel directly a few months ago and they are still in great shape.

I hesitated between an 8 1/2 and a 9, and I finally got the 8 1/2. Initially, the fit snuggly around my feet and arch. If you have a high arch, you would want to go with a 1/2 larger size. The length was perfect in the 8 1/2, and I know the high-quality leather will soften soon. Living in Northern New England, I am happy with the grip on the sole and its waterproof guarantee. I love the green-grey color that goes with so many colors. They are sleek looking with skinny cords, sexy but rugged at the same time. I get many compliments on these, but more importantly - I feel taller, comfortable, and sexier in them :)

These boots are beautiful and I was so happy to find them. I normally wear a Size 8. My feet are normal width. The Size 8 was difficult to put on and (as another reviewer noted) the vamp was very tight. I returned the 8s for an 8.5, hoping for a better fit. The result, sadly, was the same. I needed a shoe horn to get the boot on, and the vamp was still tight. Sad to have to return this boot, but the fit was just not spot on.

This boot felt great. Unfortunately, the color (Carnelian Red) turned out to be orange and brown, as opposed to scarlet and burgundy (which is how it looked on my screen). That didn't work for me so I sadly had to return these.

Once I found the right size for me, these are great. I got black and brown. Im usually a 7 I dress shoes and boots and an 8 in running sneakers/winter boots. The 7.5 in these fit. They are a bit narrow, so the 7.5 is comfortable with more room in the toe than I probably need, but they’re snug and my feet don’t flop. These are very comfortable and the leather is soft and flexible. I was looking for a cute waterproof boot to wear to work in the winter without having to switch from a heavier winter boot on the commute to an office boot. Very happy.

These had a bit of a break in time as I thought I would have to send them back because the line across the top of the shoe was quite tight on my normal width feet. A couple times wearing them and they are perfect! Great grip on the snow and ice too!

I really liked the look of these in the color Major when I saw them at an independent outdoor retail store but they were out of my size. So I went on Zappos and found them there - I normally wear a 9.5 (sometimes a 9) and ordered these in 9.5 and they fit well with an arch support insert. They just didn't look good on me. I am 5' 8'' and have long thin legs and skinny ankles. I tried them with a couple different skinny jeans (I didn't try a skirt or leggings because they would be too wide at the opening since they already were with jeans.) I also think the height of the bootie looked strange on me so I am returning. They look like great quality and seemed very comfortable...maybe they would suit someone with shorter legs and a bit thicker ankles/calves. HTH.

I love these boots! They are a little narrower then other Sorel boots that I have. They are snug when I put them on, but loosen as I wear them. Overall I love them!

These are my new favorite shoes. I just picked up the ones in black after buying the camel Cate booties a few months ago. Between the two pairs, I never want to wear any other shoes. I haven’t had to break them in at all, I wore them to work on the first day and spent 9-10 hours with them on.

Great boots! I fell in love with them right away. Rugged, but stylish. Super comfortable and supportive. The zippers were stiff at first, but with a few wears they softened.

The boot looks stylish in the black color. The heel is higher than I have tried but the chunkiness makes the boot feel safe. It is waterproof and comfortable.

Super cute! Perfect height in the shaft and heel. Unfortunately, these were way too narrow for my foot. I usually wear a 7.5, I’m sending them back and will try the 8. Hopefully those will fit. If you are a skinny person with skinny feet, then you are probably true to size. If you are an average size woman, then you probably need to size up.

Love these! Great style and waterproof for rainy days as a bonus. My feet are narrow and I have very flat arches. I’m normally a 5.5 or 6. I ordered these in a 6 and they fit perfect with thin wool socks. If my socks don’t come up higher than the top of the boot, they are still very comfortable-no irritation from rubbing on bare skin like other Sorel ankle/short boots.

Lovely and stylish booties. Do not consider wear them on a long walk.

These boots are comfy right out of the box. Based on reviews I ordered my normal size and a half size bigger. I ended up going with my normal size 6.5 because I only like wearing thin socks with my boots and feel real leather always stretches with wear. Also the color of this boot is amazing. It has some suede on the back and the Major color is just gorgeous. The heel is super comfy to walk on and I didn't find the band going across toe box was tight or anything like I read from some other reviews. Overall I expect this boot to be worn a lot and I'm thrilled its waterproof!!

Absolutely love these boots. However, loved them so much that I bought another pair in the camel color. Same fit, but didn't like the color. Sending them back. The black ones are awesome though.
