They are warm enough when I ski. Hand warmer packs do get cold when zipped into the pockets on the back of the gloves. Also I don’t know if this is just my pair or all of them, but the thumb on the liners is the same length as the fingers; way too long. It doesn’t much matter when you’re also using the outer gloves, but it’s awkward when using just the liners. I couldn’t get the liners to work on my phone even though they are supposed to be touchscreen compatible. Overall they are fine at the sale price I paid.

I invested in these gloves because I have been so please with Omni Heat technology in other Columbia products. I wore them today skiing in 17 degree weather in CO and my fingers froze! I am very displeased with the performance of these high-priced gloves. They appear to be well made. As others have stated, the fit is awkward. Worn without the liners, they are too large. Worn with the liners, they are too bulky and tight. I measured carefully according to the instructions on the website. Also, today they were very stiff. I can only assume that with further wear they would be more comfortable. I would like to return/exchange them, but I am guessing that will not be possible since they were worn. Impossible to know if they will be effectively warm without wearing them.

These gloves are so warm! I did not wear the inner part with them while skiing because it felt very thick. But they are very easy to remove. Its like getting two pairs of gloves in one!

Love that you can remove the liner. Nice looking gloves. A little too big (medium) will return for aside small .

I bought these during the summer months so I haven't tried them in the cold weather. I think they will be awesome. I ordered a size large but I think I could have used the XL in order to wear the fleece liners with the outer glove.

I followed online instructions to measure my hand, and the glove fits well. Without trying it out in the snow yet, it seems like these are high quality, good reviews, and are multifunctional. They came with the internal glove separated.

With the liner these gloves fit pretty tight, and the fingers are a bit short. Not a big problem for me but my daughter's nails are pretty long and she noticed it. She would just wear the gloves without the liner and problem solved. The pocket for a Hot Hand (warmer) is an excellent feature. My Columbia stuff was still keeping me perfectly warm past when everyone else in the group wanted to go in!

I purchased these gloves to match the gloves I purchased for my husband for an upcoming ski trip we were taking. I was concerned after reading the reviews that a small would be too small for me to wear both the removable fleece liner and the glove itself; however, I thought that a medium would be too big, so I ordered the small. While the gloves I purchased my husband were TTS, mine seemed to run a little small. Unfortunately, I was unable to wear both the removable fleece liner and the glove at the same time, as it prevented me from moving my fingers easily. I didn't have time to exchange my gloves before our trip, so I ended up wearing the glove itself without the removable fleece liner. I was worried about my fingers getting cold and/or wet without the removable fleece liner, but the gloves themselves kept my hands warm, toasty and dry on the slopes (hence why I am rating them excellent). I would definitely recommend these gloves, but would advise women to size up if they want to wear both the removable fleece liner and the gloves, and be able to move their fingers.

Very warm gloves. Outer gloves you can still use your phone while wearing. Like other reviews say, the inner gloves don't fit well inside outer gloves. But, I don't see a need to wear them together since the outer gloves work so well. Would buy again.

My boyfriend *all the heart eyes* is taking me to Colorado for a hiking/camping trip over my Spring Break. My hands are cold sitting on the couch so I knew where I had to go to find something to stay warm. Columbia has turned me into a loyal fan. I have piano keys for fingers and bought the XL, but the L probably would've been fine. I did not measure my hands, but I'm 5'10". They are super soft and I went for this particular set because it came with the fleece inserts. These gloves do not disappoint and I can't wait to wear them on vacation!

Fit true to size. My wife used them on our ski trip this year. Kept her hands warm the whole time.

I like these gloves since am in the cold weather for 2 hours a day. I like the gloves with the pocket for hand warmers. You don't have to wear them close to your hands with this little pocket on each hand.

I have always had difficulty finding gloves that kept my hands warm, as I have very poor circulation. These gloves are so warm and are perfect for any active outdoor activity in the winter! Would highly recommend.

Bought these for my wife that always has cold hands. We live in the upper Midwest with subzero weeks. She has not complained since about being cold. She did tell me once that her hands were too warm. Great product.

The liners are pretty good on their own, not water proof just polar fleece. I have very small but strong hands and should have bought a women's small instead of the M. I wear medium lab gloves and small work gloves. I'll return these for the small.

These are nice gloves, and the sale price tempted me even though some of the reviews warned me of the problem I ended up having. My hands are very broad for a woman, with short fingers (on the bright side, they work). I ordered XL and L, and also tried the mens' sizes L and XL. No go for me, with the problem being the liner doesn't fit well when actually in the glove (and this was pretty much across sizes, though the mens' XL was just too big).

Runs big, as described but runs large, not a good grib
