Was looking for stylish, waterproof boots to wear with both dresses and jeans for a wet winter trip. I loved the way these looked but was nervous by the low number of reviews. I decided to trust the brand and get them- very glad i did! They needed hardly any breaking in, they have a side zipper so you don’t have to unlace them, and they look awesome (gotten many compliments). Almost excited when it’s raining out so I can wear them.

I have upgraded my review a bit because these are quite comfortable, especially with medium to thick socks, and very waterproof. With a thinner sock or nylons my foot slips down and they pinch a bit in the toe but that's easily remedied with the socks and they are comfortable enough even to take long walks with the dog in. These have stayed warm and dry in rain and sleet. I definitely would buy these again. My only disappointment was that they were pictured described in many reviews as so sleek and streamlined, but are more chunky, hipster-style boots. They have worked best with jeans, leggings, long, funky skirts, and short minidresses of the type they wore with boots in the 60s. Wouldn't recommend for most dresses, as they are quite casual. I have included photos to show what I mean (leave it to my cats to knock down a pen cup in the middle of shooting & create a mess. But they are good representative pictures of the bunching I have described in an earlier review, so I wanted to show you what I mean because I realized that the photos I showed you before actually do look quite streamlined just out of the box. It is when you put them on your feet that they create a different look entirely). The light-colored wood heel actually retains some stains if they get wet or muddy, so I wish the heel was a bit darker. I kind of wish I would've ordered the brown color because the wood heel is darker then on the black.
Very waterproof and comfortable, though, and it's definitely worth choosing my clothes to go with the boots on rainy days, to have such dry feet, even after walking outside a lot!

Fit is good. Probably good for everyday, but for lots of walking, too heavy. And for winter weather, wooden base doesn't seem practical.

Fit was better than expected. Timbs usually run narrow. These are stylish. I think the will be versatile. Right now I’m only wearing pants with them. But I plan my outfit around the shoe... the leather is stiff but not uncomfortable. Might get another pair in brown.

Love them. A little stiff of course because they are timberlands, but they fit great and look good. I actually ordered these first straight through timberland and the shoes they sent me were messed up. They even fit differently. Weird. But these are perfect. I am so happy they came overnighted.

I love these so much that I may not wear them..lol!. If you have wide feet, these may not be best for you or go up a half size.

The leather is very stiff, but they are beautiful. I only wore them around the house, but they seem pretty comfortable. I have wide feet, and these still felt pretty comfortable width wise.

I had read other reviews that these ran narrow, and that others had gone up a 1/2 to a whole size. I went with my usual size 7.5, and yes, for some these may seem narrow, but my foot is not narrow, and it was just snug, but not uncomfortable. More like a good hug. The length was fine. Yes, the reviews are correct, the upper leather is stiff, but I don’t have “cankles” so I don’t have any issues. I also don’t have skinny legs (athletic, yes) but didn’t find these rubbing. Really like the boots. If you don’t have wide feet or cankles and you’re on the fence, get off and go for it!

Way too stiff along the shaft so when I walk it's very uncomfortable. The footbed felt good and I like the style otherwise, but will be returning.

Love the look of this show. The only issue is that I wished I ordered the shoe to my true shoe size versus going a half size up. I found the shoe to be big but was too lazy to return it. It's says to order the shoe a half size up, wish I didn't. It actually hurts my feet because it's too big, my feet keeps sliding back and forth when I walk.

Sent back the embossed black Sienna High boot I previously reviewed, and ordered the Jet Black. I was stuck on the idea of a stylish waterproof boot to wear with my dresses. On the pair I sent back, the embossed leather was so stiff I wanted to see if this fit better. This boot does lace up tighter than the Embossed leather (I don't know if that would have changed if I had broken them in rather than sending them back but I sent them back because I sort of doubt it would change the way they bunched around the ankle and front of the foot). The non-embossed leather does fit a bit more snugly and creates a better line on the side of the foot. However, there is still so much room at the top and in the front that when I lace it tightly, the leather bunches up and makes the boots look big and bulky. The outsole and heel look like very good quality, but look huge. Again, I'm torn between keeping them for wet weather (as they look like they would protect my feet well) and returning them because I would hesitate to wear them with my skirts and dresses. Would definitely keep if I had a more casual work wardrobe. I was hoping for something that looks professional and is good in wet weather, but these look either casual or good with pants or very long skirts that cover the bunchy upper, in my opinion. That's why I indicated that I would recommend these to a friend...a friend with a wardrobe not compromised of mostly short to mid-length dresses. I thought these would be dressier because they appear more svelte in the ad photos, It's a lot to pay for a glorified rain boot.
Please note: Boots look bigger on feet than in the uploaded pictures, because the upper is cut very large and roomy. However, I hesitated to keep them on my feet because I will probably be returning them.

First off these boots look gorgeous in real life and if u order half a size up they fit great. The reason why I gave it two stars it was because the left shoe was badly scratched. Called the customer service told me to upload pictures and email it. For 2 days no contact I had to call them and check. And finally the lady agreed to exchange them since I already sent the shoes back and sent the email as well and shipped them in 2 days. However, the second pair I got was even worse than the first all scratches and dents. I sent pictures and the shoes back. I ordered the black boots. I'm not sure if it's the material that's easily scratched or it's just my luck. I'm also still waiting for the refund

I loved these boots until winter came around. DO NOT BUY these anywhere with a rainy and/or snowy season. The first time I wore them in rain, I was pretty amazed because they felt waterproof. But now that I have worn them between 3 to 5 times in rain and snow, The heel is rotting away, there is all kinds of modeling and darkening and mouldering of the wood heel. To call this a waterproof boot is an absolute farce. I am speaking of the ones with the wood heels. I wish to God I would not have returned my embossed boots for the ones with wood heels because it had a sleeker fit. No matter what the fit is like, I'm not going to be able to wear these in public soon. Would never, ever buy these again (with the wood heel).

I absolutely love these boots. I've worn them everyday for the last month and they're perfect. I can walk for miles and miles with no pain. They're super cute and I feel even cuter wearing them. Timberland friends, you need to bring this boot back as a staple item. I guarantee you they'll sell out again and again.
Love a Timberland Sienna boot fan,

True to size. Comfortable and can be worn with shorts or jeans. If you don't have a wide foot please purchase your usual size. Love the fact that these zip on the side. Easy up and go

You'll have to wear it a few times to loosen it out but once broken in it's super comfortable, beautiful, and functional! Lovely boot!

They comfortable enough to wear for long periods at a time.
You can also dress them up or down because they compliment any outfit.
I was a big hit at the last function I attended.
Thank you for having them in my size

I wear a size 8 but in my older age my feet tend to swell so I bought an 8.5. The shoes fit great. Love that they are waterproof and stylish. Happy with purchase.
