Like other reviewers are saying...the extra wide are nothing like. I ordered 4E width and they are literally no wider than the standard shoe. Liars. Lost a loyal customer for life

My teenage son wore these to school for two days and the suede split from the some of the shoe leaving a three inch hole. Returned. Would not recommend.

I returned 2 different pairs, they didn't have my size.

I have a couple of these, the new ones are soooo tight. Smh. I guess you hate your customers, will just go with adidas then

I have purchased several pairs of similar NB shoes in the past. NB shoes were very high quality. I have worn holes through the soles before there was any substantial wear on the rest of the shoe. These shoes lasted less than six months with very light use. The fabric has started to disintegrate in less than six months. During the pandemic, I wore them to the grocery store and to walk my dog around the block a couple times each day. That use was too taxing for them. I will have to eat the cost because my order is outside of the return window. This was the last pair of NBs that I will purchase.

I went to a New Balance store and got fitted for a 10 on their special scanning machine. Ordered a 10 and it was incredibly small. I want to order these again in an 11 but I still haven't been refunded after shipping these back 2 weeks ago. Would love for my money back soon. Also, am skeptical about ordering online again since the return process is so bad.

I wanted to like these shoes. And I did, a lot, until the left shoe failed after 7 weeks of light daily walking, no running, jogging or other intensive uses. Left shoe failed at the ball of the foot, inside. Leather material appears to have simply ripped right at the bond to the sole. (See attached picture.) At 7 weeks use that's about $11.50 per week. Pretty poor for a supposedly premium brand shoe. Worse, while I wanted to contact NB about this before writing a bad review, I can find no way to do so. There is no mention anywhere on their website for customer support or product problems. Not at all impressed. NB people, if you read this, the order number of my purchase was NSE1003218.

This shoe was supposed to be x-wide but it isn't nearly as wide as the other x-wide I bought at the same time (or last year). Ridiculous. If you can't make them all the same, give them different names (descriptions). Now, I'm using shoe stretchers on them but, that may not work for these slender slippers.

I wore these shoes 4 times, and by the fourth time the top tore beside the shoe laces. I have contacted New Balance by email and text with no response at all. I am very disappointed in this shoe and the response from the company.

Fabric ripped in 2 places within 1 week. 3 inch tear along heel in one shoe, 1 inch tear along toe in the other.

incredibly disappointed. i ordered the black ones and they look nothing like the pictures. they're literally navy. i can't stand when companies do this. returning immediately

SEEMS DEFECTIVE. SON WORE LAST 574 CORE UNTIL SOLES WORE OUT. THIS PAIR TORE WITHIN 10 DAYS DOING EXACT SAME ACTIVITIES. WROTE TO NEW BALANCE AND HAVEN'T HEARD BACK. WAS RESISTING WRITING THE REVIEW BECAUSE THOUGHT WOULD REMEDY. HAVE ALWAYS LIKE THEIR PRODUCTS. BASICALLY WAS STILL WAITING BUT GOT EMAIL PROMPTING REVIEW. MAYBE IT WAS JUST ONE PAIR. THEY DO LOOK DIFFERENT THAN THE PREVIOUS 574 CORE HE HAD.

Had a brand new pair of 574s rip within a week.. Took me 3 times of contacting NB to replace my order.. Not a good experience

I recently ordered some 574s, which I've worn religiously for many years. I usually have no problem with the product, but one of these shoes has starting splitting at the sole significantly after only one month of wear--not even daily wear.

I love Mew Balance shoes and own numerous pairs but this one split across the toe area within two weeks of arriving. Disappointed.

I used this to go to the mall one day, drive the other day and a night at home and lower part of sole is loose at this point (on both shoes!!, see attached picture). I cant return them bc I'm in costa rica. This is very sad New Balance , I used to love this 574 shoes

poor quality. I used them for three months 7 times and they broke. I sent an email about this, but no one responds. I bought these tennis shoes directly on the New Balance website.
