All good so far. I’m size 9 and fit is true. Only downside is laces come very short. See pic

Aesthetically these boots were just what I was looking for. Sharp enough to wear out but rugged enough for working around the house. The build quality felt good when they arrived. Spacious toe box, supple leather and thick laces. Unfortunately, they offer very little cushion. There is a modest foam insole but underneath is bare leather on top of a firm outsole. I could tell from wearing them for just a few minutes that my feet would be barking if I wore them for any extended period. For a boot that is modestly priced I would understand but for the price of these I’d hoped for better. With Keen’s pedigree for outdoor sandals and shoes I also expected more. If you don’t mind investing another $30-$50 on insoles these would probably be solid, I just didn’t want to spend anymore on these.

Ordered the “Magnet” color thinking it was more brownish-gray based off the picture. Turned out they’re more on the grayish-black end in person. Great looking boot though and pretty comfortable. Definitely has a bit of a bulbous toe but I really liked how there was a slim protective covering over the front. Easy to get on and off even though they are tied all the way to the top - pull tab in the back helped too. Nice contrasting fabric around the neck of the boot. Seemed pretty well built. Returned them based on the color and they came damaged. Great customer service, as always, with Zappos though.

The boot looks good online, more stylish - but in person, the toe is very round and bulb-ish and looks very much like a work boot.

These Keen boots are fantastic. I've been hiking on snow and ice and they keep me dry. Real easy to break in. This is one sturdy & comfortable boot.

This is my second PNW winter in these boots, and I really like how warm and dry they are, but the pictures on Zappos are a little more flattering than these boots actually are. If you are familiar with Keen you know they have wide toe boxes, and are - overall - fairly rounded looking. No big deal, right? But, if you are something of a stylish dude, and you look at the pictures on Zappos you may expect them to look waaaay more like a Wolverine 1000 mile boot, Or even one of the Danner LIfestyle boots. which they really don't. They look like hiking boots, and I'd compare them to Palladium boots in appearance. But, they are fully waterproof, surefooted on wet surfaces, and very nicely insulated and are reasonably durable. Something you don't really notice on the gray boot is the black cladding on heel and toe; those are a rubber material, and I have had no issue with the design feature, in fact, I can see where it's smart since those are the real contact points with water.
I'd also recommend:
Palladium, Wolverine, Danner

My husband was happy with these right out of the box. He said they fit well and felt warm and comfortable. They will only improve with a little wearing in.

All I wear is Keen so I was surprised when these shoes arrived in my usual size and were so narrow I had to take them off after an hour and began the return process.

Warm and Dry and decent looking. I live on an Island in the Puget Sound. There is a chill that sneaks in - even to waterproof boots - that these boots mitigate very well. The images on line are very true to the appearance of this boot (in Magnet color). They are a bit bulbous compared to non-insulated boots, but overall they basically look like any other pair of boots. The toe and heel cladding are actually pretty smart. And, sure I'd prefer if they didn't have their little name tag by the laces, or a more classic line between the quarter and the vamp, but it's livable. I should point out: I'm not wearing them for real work for hours on end out in the rain. I'm not hiking all day in them. I routinely walk through our soggy woods, on saturated paths, and arrive at my destination with warm and dry feet.
I'd also recommend:

They came close to being a perfect boot. I wanted something that was warm but I could still wear when it wasn't 20 degrees, that had good tration in the snow (which cuts out Uggs) and could get into easily. By skipping the top eyehole these do it. They're comfortable, well-built (I had no issues with anything coming apart) and supportive (I have no idea why anyone believes the sole is thin or lacks cushioning but if you do, a pair of padded innersoles is $10). Am now looking forward to a great winter walking the dog.

I got these for my husband. Very nice looking shoe but too narrow across the bridge of his foot. Keen is generally a bit wider in the toe box but not on these. Because If them being too narrow we had to return them. Wish we could have kept them.
