I was in the market for purchasing a rain jacket after being caught in a downpour while running errands. I knew that I wanted something durable and of quality to last a long time. Ultimately, it was important for it to be waterproof but I didn't anticipate before shopping that I also wanted something not bulky, and light-weight in material and weight. I have found the perfect rain jacket. It is light, breathable, true to size, and provides the dryness I was looking for. Any of the waterproof jackets that The North Face offers is a great addition to your wardrobe. You can't ask for more than the great quality and craftsmanship of these products. I can't wait to find other additions to my wardrobe collection.

I wear this all the time, beautiful color and great fit.

This hoodie is great for everything, except maybe getting caught in a rainstorm.

The jacket is amazing and the color is my favorite, I am 5'1 and 150 lbs 155 on a bad day but the jacket fits me exactly,however I was slightly thinner than expected. We get super cold winters here I just needed something heavier. I had to return it will be purchasing a much heavier one from here. Still absolutely love their products.

The material on this hoodie is so soft and comfortable. It's extra light and perfect for that extra layer of warmth.

Amazingly comfortable and warm everyday use

So far so good. Feels "delicious" I really wasn't expecting it to feel so . . . the only word I can come up with is perfect. Of course I have not worn it in the rain yet and our weather has not been that cold. For me, for now I couldn't have picked anything better.

This is very lightweight and soft! I have yet to wear it in really cold weather, so I can't say how warm it is...but so far I love it! Perfect for California!

This sweatshirt is so light and yet somehow so warm. The material is very soft and comfortable. I'm planning on buying one in another color.

Perfect lightweight layering piece. It's so comfortable that I didn't want to take it off when I tried it on. Can't wait for the cooler temps to try it out outdoors.

I recently purchased this sweatshirt for a National Park hiking vacation, and it was perfect. Lightweight but warm - it was ideal for layering. It also travels well and was a great layering piece for the plane. I sometimes have issues with TNF fit but i can't complain about the fit of this jacket. The length is perfect as opposed the too short waisted like so many of TNF jackets are (and I'm only 5'5"). I definitely recommend this jacket. I'm about to buy it in a few additional colors!

This is my new favorite hoodie and I own a few from TNF. The fabric is so soft and lightweight but also really warm. The fabric keeps me warm without making me sweat as other sweaters have. It's not bulky and is great for layering. I can't say enough about how soft and silky the fabric is. I purchased this in the Ashen Purple color and I love it! The color is beautiful and matches with so many of my outfits (jeans, leggings, work pants). I've used this so far as a light jacket in my very cold office to an extra layer under my rain proof jacket for some extra warmth. I've also used it as a light layer while out hiking up in the mountains (8,000 ft) in the crisp fall air. I plan to continue using it for cold fall days and also as a layer under my warmer jackets as we transition to winter.

Lightweight and stylish. I plan to use it during early fall, brisk days. I always find North Face jackets to run large. I ordered a Medium. I am 5'5 and weigh 165. The medium was perfect.

I have a V1 of the Mountain Sweatshirt and it fits a bit looser as an L. As another reviewer said, this one is a little tighter across the shoulders and I found a little tighter around the hips, so this one is going back for the XL.

I love how soft the jacket is but it is not as warm as I had hoped

I love this jacket. The only thing I would change is making the top pink a little "softer".
