True to size, but unfortunately, it’s a compression heat gear shirt, not cold gear as indicated, and not suited to cold temperatures. Sure we can find use for it, just not that for which we bought it.

The weather in Edmonton even in spring and summer can get colder. My son wears this as a base layer under his sports team jerseys when that happens and it keeps him warm without the bulk of wearing a sweater or hoodie. He loves it.

This is a great shirt for wearing under sports jerseys. My kids wore them for soccer and said they worked great. I'd say it runs true to size, though it has a snug fit due to the way it is designed. It has a slight "fleece" feel underneath which is great. Medium fit my 11 year old, while small fit my 8 year old.
