I needed a comfortable shoe with more support for my flat feet. These shoes looked good, so I ordered them. These are wonderful shoes and my feet are not fatigued at the end of the day. The only negative is I wanted the shoes in the color blue but they were sold out.

Nice pair of shoes however sizing is not similar to other 10.5 sizes of Brooks shoes. Seems to run smaller

Addiction Walkers are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn (I am now on my fourth pair). And--when I wear them consistently--they keep my knee pain at bay. They are one star short of five for me because of their price. 300 miles per pair would mean 50 cents per mile and two months of use. I, of course, get better mileage than that, but still they are a very expensive choice on my retirement income. I have resorted to looking for "previously owned" pairs on Ebay.

While they looked good, they ran small and narrow and were really stiff. I couldnt do a proper heel toe transition in them. And theyre more flat footed than me, with no arch support. But thanks to Brooks Run Guarantee, I returned them for a full refund. They might work for a more neutral foot but they werent what I was expecting out of a shoe with a podiatrist accreditation

Great walking shoe for wide, flat feet. Suede is poor in the wet, though.

I am a 88 yr old man with a collapsed arch in left foot. I thought this rigid shoe might help. It was uncomfortable and somewhat heavy for my legs. Returned.

Like the overall design, but the sizing chart was off. I typically wear 12s, and bother were too small. I need 12.5. I sent my shoes back and have yet to receive full refund for both.

Really nice shoe but the toe box was too narrow for me. I normally wear a Ghost in 8 2E, and the Addiction was just too tight in front, even in a wide. So, sending it back, but if you usually wear a normal width in a running shoe, the wide might fit. Customer service did tell me the Addictions toe box was more linear because running shoes allow for expansion/swelling.

"I purchased the Brooks Addiction Walker shoes based on their description of providing soft, responsive cushioning and being ideal for long hours on my feet. Unfortunately, my experience was quite the opposite. Within minutes of wearing them, my feet started to hurt. Im very disappointed, as they feel much smaller and tighter compared to my Brooks Adrenaline GTS 23 in size 10 2E, which are incredibly comfortable. I had high expectations, but these shoes did not meet them."

This was my fourth Addiction Walker purchase. I love them. I wish they would bring back the Brown Suede Walker. Perhaps this review will help promote my request.

Fit perfectly right out of the box. I travel a lot and they have gotten a lot of use. Stood through two concerts on a concrete floor and was completely comfortable. The styling is modern without being flashy. Great in town... great at a heavy metal show.
