Good fit and comfort (once I discovered I now wear a larger size, I am no longer trying to cram my feet into the size I used to wear!). Nice looking. The Soft 7 Ecco shoes are always comfortable for me.

I’ve bought both the black and gray in these shoes, and I’ve found them cute and practical. Gore-tex makes them very useful for errands on wet days. The only criticism I have is that the soles do seem rather thin for walking very far—you can feel all the bumps in the pavement—but the insoles are removable, so if that is a problem for anyone, they could put in an orthotic or a more substantial insole.

These fit like my usual size in Ecco. They're a nice alternative to booties--being waterproof. I like the black sole. The stretchy upper is comfortably snug but not too much for my high instep. They are a slip-on that still has a little polish. I know I'll wear them often.

I like the feel of them...nice and snug but not sure I can wear socks with them. As others have said, the color looks more like brown which is fine with me.

I love these! The fit is great and they are very comfortable. I have several pairs of Soft 7 athletic shoes that I wear often. I needed something a little dressier for work and tried these. They are just what I wanted and I plan to buy them in another color.

instep too high

This is a very nice waterproof shoe, although I haven't yet tested that aspect of it, so I really can't say exactly how waterproof it really is. However, in my experience, Gore-Tex waterproofing is about as reliable as it gets. The style of this shoe is good - simple enough to double as an all-day quasi-dress shoe, but with a sole that grips well and gives good support, making it a good walking or travel shoe. The stretchy fabric is high quality, and has a fair amount of give for comfort. My only complaint is the capped toe which is stiff and tends to cramp the toes a bit. If there were a bit more give in the plastic capping, the shoe would be a lot more comfortable. My complaint stems in part from the fact that I am in between sizes. I normally wear 7M, but the 38 (7-7.5) was way too big - I was stepping out of the shoe when walking. However, the 37 (6-6.5) was a bit cramped in the toe due to the plastic capped toe. I really needed a 37.5 in this shoe, but alas, the Europeans don't believe in half sizes. Had the plastic capping not been there, the shoe would be a lot more comfortable. I understand the reason for the cap - to increase the waterproof property of this design, but I would rather have more comfort.

I really liked this shoe, great style and very practical. Unfortunately, it didn't fit me right. It was too loose to provide enough support for a lot of walking. I frequently have this problem with siip-ons, and it may fit you perfectly. Wish it would have worked for me.

These are very expensive for what they are - upgraded sneakers. They were a little snug in the toe box/width, and at this price I'm not willing to take a chance that they will stretch.

I was torn between keeping this shoe and the Soft 7 Wedge. I love the removable sole in this shoe since I have one foot slightly larger than the other. Taking one sole out made it much more comfortable. The Gore Tex is perfect for wet weather. The shoe is similar to the Ecco I had last year and is very comfortable to wear all day. However it was just harder to get on and off. I take my shoes off when I come into the house in the winter and I know this would really begin to bother me. Thankful that Zappos gives me a choice of shoes. Before Zappos I had a very difficult time finding shoes in my size.

fit was a little small, fairly typical for this brand. shoes were very comfortable and waterproof!

This ECCO slip-on is very nice. I have worn these twice in the rain and they work great. Seem to be well made. They look nice. I did not want Shale because I'm SO tired of Gray everything, but that's what was available in my size. I wear a size 7 and ordered a 7, and they are a bit large, but I'll be wearing them mostly with socks, so that will be okay. Thanks Zappos!

This is a nice shoe. A little hard to get on, but comfy once on. I returned them because, while I wore them around the house to give them a try, I never chose them to wear when I was going out. Other shoes I have that are similar to these, but lighter - Allbirds loungers, Skechers breathe easy - always won the day. Granted, these shoes aren't waterproof like the GTX slip on, but I have other waterproof shoes. I recommend them highly, but for me, they were superfluous.

Purchased for travel...only want to take one pair of shoes for the various weather conditions. The shoe looks very nice (I tried it with maxi dresses and capri jeans) and is easy to slip on (my feet are narrow). The combined sizing made the shoe feel a half size small...returning this pair for the next size up. Hopefully, the next size up will fit perfectly (with a little room to spare for no-show socks). Oh, the width was perfect for me but will be snug (and difficult to slip on) for wearers with wide feet.

I was excited to see that these shoes have a Gore-tex upper and are water proof. They are an interesting style and fit pretty well. The toe area is a bit small, though the rest of the shoe fits normally. I have an average foot and wear an 8.5 size. I would say toe box is almost a half size small for me. Being fabric uppers, they stretch a bit with wear. I will wear them again in the house to be sure before I send them back.

So I wrote another review, praising them, and still mean it. But after wearing them around for about 1/2 hour in the house the left shoe started rubbing the top of my foot. It's my smaller foot, so it was a bit loose on that one. But, I can't use them for travel when I'm taking one pair of shoes, which is what I'd hoped for. So I'll return them. My right foot, the longer one, was just fine. It's a common problem for me . . . but I only keep shoes that fit both feet well. Too bad.

Stylish and very comfortable, and versatile with the black and gray, but I'm sending them back because it is so difficult for me to get my wide foot into the opening. Looking forward to more styles with this fabric from Naot.

These fit well and were comfortable. I need a little something in the arch, and these have it. Ultimately, these were more of a casual look than I needed, so I'm returning to look for a different style

I am normally an 8, but purchased the 7-7 1/2 based on reviews. They are very comfortable out of the box. I have a narrow foot that can take narrow cut B width shoes or a N AA, depending on the shoe. These fit me perfectly (as long as I do not wear socks). Lengthwise the 7 7 1/2 is about an 1/4" shorter than I would like. So, overall, I would say these run narrow and only a half size larger than marked.

TO TIGHT

This is a great style of shoe, but my toe is right at the end of the shoe. The shoe doesn't come in a 10.5-11, which I am sure would have been perfect for me. Unfortunately, I will be returning these shoes.
