The Furness is an under represented work boot. The boot is steel toe, suited for electrical hazard and are slip resistant. Fit is great (Dr. Marten does not make half sizes so make sure to size down to the nearest whole size). Chelsea (no laces) ankle design is perfect for easy slip on/off. Boots require light 'break-in' period. Dr. Marten Wonder Balsam is a must!

Note! The UK size 5 is really a US women's size 8. I originally ordered the "UK size 6 (US men's 7, US women's 8)" and it was really a US men's 7 but NOT a US women's 8 (more like a US women's 9). A US men's 7 matches a US women's 9 (roughly).

I’m an electrician and on my feet all day. Virtually no break in needed. Feel great and first slip on I’ve ever enjoyed wearing, not too tight in the ankle but still enough support to walk attic rafters and still feel confident they won’t fall off.

These are great work boots. Well made, great support and style!. I had to return due to a deformed foot from an accident years ago. Really wanted to keep these as my daily wear at my job where I’m on my feet all day, but one overly long toe would not allow.

PERFECT fit to my needs. Feet do not feel tired at the end of my shift.

The size and width is good. They could use more space in the toe box. The arch support is nonexistent so I had to add insoles. It’s been hard to find insoles that offer enough arch support without making my toes cramped. I ended up searching for socks that would be thin, yet tight enough to not slip down my heel. Smart Wool makes great socks for this as long as you don’t mind paying $20 a pop. As for comfort, they are alright. As a dock clerk, I’m at a desk most of the day. These boots are heavy. If I was running around the warehouse all day like I used to, I’m sure they would make me tired. But they do look amazing. I wear them outside of work too. If you have narrow feet and low arches, these would probably be fine. They were true to size, so no issues with that. I wish they had a composite toe so they weren’t so heavy, but it is what it is.

Fit well, seem to be well constructed, a bit heavy, and on hospital floors squeak so loudly it is distracting. The squeaking improved after I roughed up the soles with coarse sandpaper, just something to consider.

The fit is very good. Not narrow and not super wide. I got the standard width. They seem good and rugged. Gen Xers will drool all over them. Comfort is 3.5 stars but might be better with break-in.

Fit good at first but quickly began to feel loose

Way too big , and I've bought Drmartens before. I only tried them on twice with different socks. and they started to discolor right away and scratches too. I am really disappointed in the down turn in quality. I lost the box so I'll have to resell them on ebay. Probably the last pair of docs I'll ever buy. Really bad. Very unhappy.
