This is a very comfortable indoor shoe suitable for people with toe and arch problems. The top is soft and the sole is quite heavy so I will not be using them for extensive walking.

I had foot surgery 6 months ago. My foot is still a little swollen and I am wearing Merrells Encore Q2 Breez well but looking for an alternative, something more summery and sandal-like. My first impression upon opening the box was that these shoes emited a strong chemical odor. I was able to remove the inner sole and insert my custom orthotic. The shoe looks very orthopedic and bulky. Ultimately the hardware/buckle holding the velcro strap left a mark when I wore them around the house. It may have been because of my swelling. I returned the shoes.

I ordered these shoes in size 5. They are very clunky looking and have an odd chemical smell. The outer sole is stiff and inflexible so it does not move with your foot. There is not enough support for your ankles and legs because of the sling back style. My arch supports raised the removable footbed above the level of the shoe making it uncomfortable. I mean, the reason for having removable footbeds is so you can use your orthotics, right? I returned these shoes. I ended up buying the Drew delite mary jane instead. I like to do a lot of walking so comfort, cushioning and support are important to me.

Purchased for my sister who has a small, but wide foot. These are perfect.
