We really liked the style of these sneakers, but ended up returning because it was a bit on the small end of a size 13 for my son in length. So if you are transitioning from 12.5 with room to grow I'd recommend the 13. I will say the picture is true to color. I was a bit worried about the pink tone in the road of the cookie monster shoes but they are slight and still show off as whole as a pretty fun set of kicks.
