Size 10 seemed about like a typical size 10. These are supposed to feel like being barefoot, so I did not expect there to be any arch support and there is not. My main complaint is that they are too narrow in the toebox, especially for a shoe that claims that your toes & forefoot should be able to spread out fully & naturally. These are simply too narrow to allow my feet to do that (and I do not have particularly wide feet). My Altras are still far roomier in the toebox but these are nice when I want to be able to really feel the ground underneath me to work on proprioception & muscle toning in my feet. The other thing I did not like is that the quick draw laces it comes with are too short & tight and it is difficult to get the shoe on. They do provide regular laces, but you have to cut the quick draw laces to put the regular laces in, so if you decide to do it, there is no going back.
