I usually wear a 5.5 and I got a 6.5. I did 3 hikes in these shoes in Utah- 7.6 up hill hike, 6.3 mile hike up rocks and in sand, and a 16.2 mile hike. My shoes never hurt my feet and I never had any issues with them! I didn't even break them in before the hikes! An awesome shoe I would recommend to anyone!

Zero arch support!! From above, I could actually see my ankles biased inward towards each other (arches not supported). These also run a half size small. Very cute though.

I bought these shoes for an African Safari because they were very lightweight, waterproof, durable & cute! I thought I'd have to wear my orthotics so I ordered a half size up (like I usually do for tennis shoes), but I never inserted them and they fit me perfect. I'm surprised at how comfortable they are-in fact, I don't want to wear any of my other tennis shoes by Nike or Adidas. Since I thought I'd have to wear them in, I ordered them a few months ahead of the Safari and that wasn't necessary. They were comfortable from day one and they've gotten so much use I'm going to buy another pair for the Safari! I can't say enough good things about this hiking shoe!

I wore these inside for a couple hours and unfortunately they didn’t fit my heels. Both heels were hurting along the inside. I even went and bought different insoles but my heels still hurt. It seemed the heel was made too narrow. I really liked the color (blue/green) and the look. Unfortunately I returned them.

These were great for all the walking I did this past Spring and Summer on my job as a plant merchandiser. I walked an average of 5 miles a day on concrete and was stepping on pallets that would break and bend. These sneakers were tough and supportive. When stepping and breaking a pallet board, this shoe was tough and kept my ankles supported somehow. They weren't always waterproof as I'd have to water at the end of a merchandising day, but I did wash them often and it could have worn down the protective coating. I wore holes in the mesh by the Fall. I had enough room to insert my orthodotics. I want another pair, however, contemplating whether they'll be warm enough for winter and protective enough in the snow. But these are a great shoe. Very comfy.

A great supportive shoe. Sizing is snug. If you are between sizing occasionally, go with the size above. I should have bought a 6.5, a 6 was too small.

Bought size 7 first, my usual size, feels too small, too tight, unbreathable inside, returned it and order size 8 instead for extra space and it fits perfectly, more comfortable, will save it for the upcoming trip!

Size is true. Fit is stiff . I'm sure it will get better as I wear them.

I am a greenhouse grower and my shoes need to be waterproof and comfortable as I am on my feet all day and do a lot of watering. I like the style and they felt comfortable right away.

Super comfy, no break in period. Waterproof and keeps my feet comfortable while standing for extended periods of time.

These shoes are a little bit rugged but somehow still very comfortable. I hike in some places that are unpaved and also to places to do plein air painting, off the beaten path. I need shoes I can wear for long periods and be comfortable and have some support. And LOOK GOOD! These fit the bill!

My feet are on the narrow side, so I lean toward brands (like ECCO) that run narrow in their regular width. I've had trouble finding hiking shoes that aren't too wide, so I'm glad these seem to run a bit narrow. I also like that they appear to have more cushioning than most hiking shoes. They are all grey, except a bit of the sole that is a pale peach. Some might find the lack of color boring, but for me it means they are more versatile and don''t make my larger feet stand out!

I was looking for a waterproof shoe to wear to Europe and Canada on cobblestone streets and trails. This is very attractive, but it's not flexible at all and it makes a small squeaking or swishing sound. I normally fit comfortably in a 10 sneaker with an orthotic. I could barely get into the 10 with socks. They are nice looking though-- I am sorry I have to send them back..

Seems like a comfortable shoe, but way too tight in my usual size.

It takes a bit to feel comfortable in the shoe as it is a hard shoe to fit into.

This shoe could have worked IF your ankle bone sits higher up than mine. I have a difficult foot to fit and require a waterproof shoe for the outdoor work I do. I need a roomy toe box, which this had. I have a very narrow heel and most shoes slip right off - but this shoe was right enough. The only issue was that the shoe is cut quite high - almost like a mid-hiker - so the very stiff sides of the shoe hit my ankle bone right in the middle. Too bad.
I'd also recommend:

The opening of the sneaker rubbed against my ankle. The material was stiff so it was painful to wear.

This was an incredibly uncomfortable shoe. It's narrow like a trail runner, but without the flexibility; it's stiff like a low hiker, but without the wider toe box. My feet hurt after wearing them for five minutes. It's too bad because the styling is cute. I felt they ran a bit small and narrow.
